This wall sconce looked very nice out of the box. It is large, solid and very pretty. I wired everything up and tested it prior to the installation. It worked well and gave off a nice white light. It has a dimmer which also worked well. I continued the installation putting the front piece in place with the 4 small screws into the pre drilled holes. Unfortunately, 3 permanent wires on the fixture are placed in a crevice right where one of the screw holes is located and while attaching, the screw pierced one of the wires in its path (you can't see behind while putting the screw in) which I did not realize until I finished installing and turned on the switch. There was a flash and pop and sadly the light will no longer work. This would have been a 5 star review had it not been for the design flaw of the wire channel being directly behind the one screw hole. Hindsight is 20/20. Had this been called to my attention, I would have avoided a disaster. I hope this will help those of you who wish to buy this nice Sconce. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a nice LED light. It looks really nice. It can be mounted vertically or horizontally. It comes with all necessary hardware and with a bit of experience it only takes a few min to install. You can easily adjust the color of the light with a switch on the side without having to unmount the fixture which is great. It is also dimmable with a compatible dimmer.
