This camera is okay, but not particularly great. The images they show on their listing paint it to be a high quality image and it doesn't seem as crisp and clear as they promote. Nighttime is bad because the camera is super sensitive to the license plate light. I had an LED bulb installed and thought if I went back to a standard bulb that the camera would be able to handle it. It made it marginally better. It still clouds the image horribly. It makes it almost useless at night. The camera I have on my wife's 4Runner doesn't have this issue at all. If I ever replace this camera, I will be spending more on a higher quality camera. I got what I paid for. ---------- Updating my review based upon customer service: The ZEROXCLUB customer service reached out to me because I had issues with this camera. They sent me an improved version of the backup camera and I installed it, and the quality of the picture is better than this model. For that reason, I have bumped this review up by another star. I do think they should improve their mounting brackets for these cameras. They are very limited in the adjustability range, especially if you are using license plate trim and the area where you license plate is mounted has a slight backward tilt to it. These conditions made it impossible for me to get the camera adjusted down to where it needed to be. I had to use an included top mount which requires drilling holes. Not optimal, but it did allow me to adjust the camera where it needed to be.

Well made product, worked very well. I had a backup camera without the LEDs, which didn't work very well at night. This camera configuration works much better.

Recently upgraded my truck's radio and decided to add cameras to both front and rear. Camera that came with my radio did not have the leds so I used that one up front and went with this camera for the rear. Wiring up the camera was easy, connected power to the rear reverse light, used a nearby ground and ran the remaining cables along the bed and into the cabin. From there it was as easy and matching up the wires with the radio harness. As for performance, so far so good. No issues with it coming on automatically when putting car in reverse. Image is fine for reversing and the guidelines are helpful extending about 6 feet from the bumper. I liked how it mounts on the back of the plate and is pretty inconspicuous.

This is my second time purchasing this. It works well however that when the weather is pretty decent I live in the mid west so the weather is all over the place. I've noticed that the camera doesn't perform well on moisture so if you love somewhere that is the opposite congratulations and enjoy your purchase.

I bought this camera to test vs. a camera that came included with an ATOTO A6 head Unit. I liked the idea that this camera comes with a licence plate bracket to hopefully make the installation a bit easier. I have yet to install neither of the two cameras so I cannot attest to either of the two cameras picture quality. I will update the review when I complete the installation.
