This 10x20 carport replacement canopy is a solid option if your old cover is worn out but the frame is still in good shape. When I opened the box, the material immediately felt thick and durable. Last summer our older model SUV began to leak somewhere in the headliner when it rained heavily. We didn't know if it was from the roof rack or what, but we learned that having a heavy duty tarp on hand was the difference between damage or no damage to our vehicle after a storm, with the further intention on having a car port. This canopy covers the entire length of our Expedition, and gives us peace of mind. The material itself is triple thick, very tough, and reinforced. The grommets are strong, and the included bungee cord balls make securing this canopy to a carport frame quick and easy. We actually have a 10x20 tent that uses this type of bungee balls, and they work great. I ordered the beige. It looks like caramel. Incidentally, you can also tie down this canopy directly onto your vehicle or boat - or even a chicken run - using rope or traditional bungees. It's a great product. I have no hesitation recommending it to others.

I replaced my previous carport canopy with this one and couldn't find a single way it came up short. Installation was just as easy as the one it replaced — the 36 bungee balls and reinforced grommets make the whole process take only a few minutes with no tools. The manufacturer touts the 12-lb shipping weight as evidence of quality, and I actually put that to the test. I weighed this canopy against a spare of my previous (more expensive) brand and they came in identically at 10 lbs 1 oz. Same weight means same material density — and for a 180g PE fabric canopy, that's exactly what you want to confirm. The gray color matched my existing frame perfectly, which can be hit-or-miss with replacement covers. Waterproofing and UV resistance appear consistent with what I've used before. Bottom line: if you've been buying a pricier brand out of habit, give this one a look. I couldn't justify paying more after this comparison.
