Ok Yall in a house with 3 cats we ALL know that there are going to be issues. This stuff is amazing better to me than Poof which did not work at all. This is instant and even the cats cannot smell the place they marked or the accident. It works on hard surfaces and soft. Even the brick outside (we had a neighborhood cat marking right outside our door causing our boy inside to need to do the same. A couple of sprays on the brick and walls, after cleaning cause gross otherwise. The smell was gone and even the cats couldn't detect it. The couch that gets a funk after humans and animals lay all over it all week, well a spray down with this and the cats are rolling on it trying to put their smell back. The down side it takes direct aim at the individual spot, it takes a while to dry, and it leaves the faintest chemical smell. The smell isn't strong or too bad but if you spray the couch down wait a bit for it to dry then take a nap on it you will notice the chemical smell just a little.

We have dogs and cats, so you know - drool, pee (from the old ones), general dog smell. I’ve tried so many things, and all they do is mask the smell, especially cat pee. Our 19 year old cat sometimes misses the box, and it’s stinky! I originally bought this in the small bottle to try it. We like how it works so much that I got the gallon! There is a faint scent at first so you know where it’s been sprayed, but that goes away quickly. It’s the only product I’ve found that really, really works on cat pee smells. I spray our dog beds too between cover washes to keep them fresh.

Household with 2 canine companions. Ordered and used Kit with 3 sprayers. Works great. Slight bleach odor on spraying which dissipated quickly and didn't linger. Ordered refill. Delivery thrown over fence, container spilled inside package. Checking for damage. Really don't want to return it.

We have had NUMEROUS indoor cats and some that are in Heaven now cause MAJOR PEE ODOR ISSUES throughout our home and not excluding our clothes!! That was around 15+ years ago when that nightmare happened and I was sure was the end of the world! Unfortunately I didn’t know about Zero Odor at the time. I’m pretty sure that I might not have completely lost my mind!! We now have 9 indoor cats and 1 is special needs. I have health issues that makes it a lot more difficult to keep up with everything. Zero Odor Pet Odor Eliminator truly removes all of the odor! On rare occasions I have had to treat more than once but, that’s rare! It even works on old Pee odor that you thought was gone but, on damp or humid days old odors can sometimes come back. I have been buying this and other Zero Odor products from Amazon and I have never had any real issues until recently. I bought the big one, 64 oz. and it was gross when I opened it up. It was brown and yucky. I didn’t know what to do…. And I’m not sure exactly how I did whatever I did but, someone from the Zero Odor company contacted me and said that they have been having problems with the way Amazon has been storing them and then sending them out to people. ZERO ODOR IS THE BEST!!

Our cat has the stinkiest poops EVER (high protein diet), so aside from running an air purifier and cracking a window, I wanted to find an air freshener that would eliminate the smell from the air after she goes. I wanted to make sure it was pet-safe, and left no fragrance of its own. We had previously tried a “plant based” spray that worked great but unfortunately left behind a super floral perfumey odor that lingered, so next we decided to try this Zero Odor. I bought the “pet” version but honestly not sure if it’s just regular Zero Odor marketed as a different thing. ***Packaging: White plastic bottle looks like typical “bathroom cleaning product” - wouldn’t necessarily want to leave it out. No leaks in shipping. The sprayer does a jet and a mist, but the nozzle isn’t labeled, so you’ll have to spray to find out which is which (odd). The spray pattern isn’t great either - since we’re primarily using this in the air I would prefer a fine mist but it kind of comes out half stream/half mist so I’ll probably have to end up putting this in my own sprayer bottle. ***Scent: While claiming to be “fragrance free,” it does list “tracer fragrance” on the ingredients, which is meant to let you know where you’ve sprayed it and then dissipate quickly. Luckily I’m just sensitive to fragrances and not actually allergic, but if you have a fragrance allergy, I would say the marketing is a bit misleading because this certainly does contain fragrance! I sprayed into my office first to test the scent, and there’s definitely a generic perfumey “cleaning product” or “fresh clean” type of scent with a hint of chlorine when first sprayed - luckily it dissipates within 30-60 seconds or so from the air. I stepped out of the room, came back in about 30 seconds, and couldn’t smell it anymore. So at least it doesn’t linger. ***Odor elimination: The big test came when our cat did her daily Dump of Doom. After scooping I sprayed this a couple times into the closet where we keep the litter box, then 3 times into the room outside the box which usually becomes uninhabitable for about an hour while we run the air purifier. After waiting about 30 seconds I went back in and would say it reduced the smell about 50%. Not a miracle but the fact that we could be in that room without holding our noses was miraculous. So I sprayed a second round which helped more but still not 100% elimination. ***Overall: • It does eliminate odors from the air somewhat, but does take a lot of spraying to do so - about 12 sweeping sprays just for one room, and I'd say only 50-75% of the smell is eliminated • I can't speak to how well this removes odor from surfaces (like fabric) but I have to assume it does a better job there than in the air; as an air freshener, it doesn't seem to do the job well • DOES contain “tracer fragrance” but luckily it dissipates pretty quickly and doesn’t linger • Sprayer isn’t great; if you use this often, I’d probably buy the gallon-size refill and get a nicer bottle with a fine mist sprayer I'll probably be returning this - 12+ sprays just to eliminate the odor about 50% just isn't worth it for our purposes - it doesn't make me feel confident enough to have guests over if our cat dropped a bomb in their presence! So I'll be trying something else. Can't speak for how it works on surfaces, though.

I very seldom write reviews.i heard that you can NEVER can get smolKe out of the house. I had to at least try as I am quitting smoking and started to smell the funk. These reviews here were great - and BONUS a female-run company. I doubted greatly but washed my furniture (careful to dry quickly) then my floors and walls. I still couldn't tell. So when a friend came over I invited her into my room and asked if she noticed anything. She said, “only that it smells great in here! Not believing her I went out for a walk to clear my nasal passages. On return WOW! Now I have to save to finish the rest of the house (limited fixed income). Hopefully next year I will have the entire house done and do not smoke anymore.
