These shirts are perfect. The slightly longer inseam makes me feel more comfortable. I'm not constantly battling a wedgie or that awkward thigh smoosh in the wrong spot. They are extremely stretchy yet snug so your butt looks real good in these. You can bend over and sit without it cutting into your belly. They're high waisted enough to cover my muffins. I'm 5'9" 150lbs. It's so hard to find good shorts. I think I might buy more. :D

Since this fabric is stretchy, you can go for more a more fitted look. I liked the stretxhy material for the waist line. I am 'hippy' and sometimes am disappointed with the large waist line to accomodate my hips and small waste. The stretchy material does help to prevent that large gapping space between your waste and the top of the shirts. I would suggest going smaller than your comfortable size. They seem to be true to size. The buttons are functional, so if you have long nails that may be worrisome trying to get them fastened.
