This, to me, is the perfect hose. I currently own three of them, and had a fourth I gave to a friend. They are super-flexible and pliable when no water is running through them, and stiff when full of water. I found that when I'm winding it up, I let out just enough water pressure to allow it to keep some shape so that it rolls up very easily. When I'm done rolling it, I let the rest of the water out and it goes limp. I also like the size and weight, which allows enough water pressure to do anything I need. They are expensive, but the first one I owned sat outside for two years in sweltering South Florida heat in direct sunshine all day, and then one year in the smothering Texas sunshine without a single problem or leak. It was constantly dragged across concrete as well. The hose is well-made and built to last and functions as intended. Finally, they glide through the grass easily and never get tangled. No need for a bulky hose reel or unsightly heavy hose wrapped around a wheel. The Zero G is lightweight and a manageable size to fit in a garden hose pot or bundled up and stored in your garage. This hose does not kink, it’s very easy to maneuver around the yard or flower garden, and only weighs a couple of pounds and does not leak. The Zero G does not expand or collapse like most you see advertised, this gives it the strength needed to use with a pressure washer with a burst rating of 600+ psi. Even though it does not collapse it is very easy to store as the material is very flexible. The connector housing is made of aluminum but it has brass inserts so it should not fuse to your hose bib. The box says assembled in the USA but doesn’t not state where it is made but it seems very durable. Other collapsible hoses I’ve had burst if accidentally stepping on them when under pressure, this one so far has passed that test. This hose is definitely the type I will be replacing all my other hoses with. ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: 4 years ago I purchased the 50’ Zero-G hose pictured here and liked it so much when my generic heavy duty (emphasis on HEAVY) plastic 50’ hose at the back of the house went bad I replaced it with a Zero-G hose 2 years ago. Today I received a 25’ Zero-G hose to replace the piece of junk expanding hose that stays in my camper that exploded last week on my camping trip. They are light weight, rarely kink and even the 4 year old hose pictured has NO leaks or corrosion on the threads and it has lived outside full time in the weather. This zero-G Lightweight kink-resistant hose was nice while it lasted, but it didn't last very long. I liked the style and it was nicely lightweight. However, I was hoping that it would last longer than 1 year and it didn't. It started leaking at the spout connection after 8 months and then finally ripped entirely after 12 months. Great at first - light, flexible, fittings are solid, easy to put away, etc. But eventually it will burst a leak in the line. Maybe not today, nor tomorrow, but it WILL happen. The two I bought both went shortly after six months. I’d stay away unless you like regularly replacing your hoses.

This hose is very strong. I have not had any problems with it. It has copper settings. It's just the right length for the width of my yard. I think it will last a long time!
