My credentials Is I’m a Trucker and I have an ARB cooler, IYKYK. I have a 2018 Freightliner Cascadia. I’m an OTR Trucker. I bought Mark 3 last summer thinking it would be a great option. If your think o, what about the inverter and battery set up. Trucks have way more than what is needed for this. I have an 3600 watt inverter and the unit is only 500 watts in Rocket mode. I have eight Odyssey AGM batteries, please look it up. Other than paying $10,000 to replace my trucks APU. I will put it this way. I had to pay to get my APU unit replaced. If you’re in 90 plus degree temperatures it can’t cool the tiny 220 square footage space in the trucks sleeping area down enough. Read the article on what it is rated for, this will help you. However, I know that’s not the size of a camper. So I can’t speak on what and or how well it works for them. However my Mark 3, always feels like it’s blowing freezing cold air at full blast. But. It was only cold in front of the unit. The air around in the cab was never changing. That’s with the curtains closed and praying you don’t have to go to the bathroom. How can I put this. Maybe my truck isn’t insulated enough to allow the unit to work? Right, but after replacing the factory APU that temperature are fine. I hope this helps someone. And if you are camping I wish you the best. I still have the Mark 3 and it now is a emergency backup at home if I ever need it. ... show more

If you’re trucking camping or just need a good AC when outside at a event this is the way to go. My brothers are both Truck drivers and they are already buying them after I told him about them.
