This is a great product for carpets that are in desperate need of love! I used this product in a professional steam (rented from Weise) to deep-clean my basement carpet this weekend. My carpet is unfortunately a tan/beige color and gets absolutely disgusting between mud tracked in by my household and the several dogs we have. I did not have high hopes for the stain removing properties of this product when I purchased it, as I was more concerned with ensuring odor removal from the carpet due to several pet accidents. HOWEVER, this product not only removed the underlying odor, it also vastly improved the overall discoloration and staining of the carpet as a whole! While my basement carpet will never look 100% like it originally did, this carpet cleaning product has given me at least another year or two before I am forced to shell-out $$ to replace it. An added bonus is the fact that this formula has a very pleasant smell to it and doesn't result in the typical urine smell that some cleaners can product while the carpet is still wet! One last sidenote, I did not use the recommended amount based on the bottle. I instead used a much heavy pour/amount of the product in the carpet cleaner with HOT water. I also recommend letting the product sit on the carpet for at least 5-10 minutes before going back over it to suck-up the water.

I'm not crazy about the scent but it cleans well and good price I tend to like white linen scent but this to me anyway has a sweet smell but it goes away fairly quickly
