I would say I have slightly above average legs, arms and a chest measurements. When diving or snorkeling with full 3 or 7 mils name brand suits, I wear a large, and they fit well. This wetsuit is small compared to other large wetsuits. I would highly recommend going up a size if you workout at all. I am so disappointed this shorty doesn't fit. I used the provided chart to select my size. Based on the chart, I actually went to the low side of the next size up. I know wet suits are supposed to be tight and loosen up in the water. This one is so tight that it starts to cut off my circulation and I can't move freely. It's embarrassing, but after I managed to squeeze in to it, I had to get help to remove it. I am 5'10", 195 lbs., and according to the seller's sizing chart, an X-Large should fit me. Well, it didn't. Not by a long shot. It took me a good ten minutes to get the wetsuit on, and once it was on, it was way too constricting... everywhere. Getting the wetsuit off was another story - at one point, I contemplated grabbing a knife and cutting it off. On the other hand, the wetsuit seems well-constructed, and I like the sleek design. So I'm 5'9.5.. this is supposed to fit up to 6'. It's super tight in shoulders and very hard to get off and Hard to paddle with your arms on a surfboad as so tight in shoulders. Maybe it will break in with time and stretch out. Water leaks through top of zipper corner.. see pictures, with no lining underneath. No idea why they have it like this. Makes velcro neck collar practically useless. Its thick too at 3-3. Most short suits like this for warmer weather are 2-2.. I guess all the water leaking in from the zipper hole will cool you off! I need a shorty wetsuit for occasional kayak outings with moderately cold water of colder air temperatures. A shorty isn't for significantly cold conditions, but it's the right thing for those "need something but not a lot" days. This wetsuit is well made. The seams at the opening of the legs and arms have a double-row of stitching, and the seams that join the panels together are all comfortable flat seams. The wetsuit is fairly easy to put on and take off, but like all front-zip wetsuits it can take a little squirming to get it up over your shoulders. And taking it off when your skin is a little sweaty/sticky might be easiest if you had someone else to pull the suit back down over the shoulders. That's just the nature of front-zip suits, but the plus side is that you can easily unzip the front to cool off if needed. I'm 6 feet tall and weigh about 170 lbs. I'm an old guy with skinny arms, but I'm spreading out in the belly like we old guys do. I find that the XL suit fits me comfortably. It's snug around my middle and thighs, and a bit loose around my skinny arms. That's actually a good fit as the slight looseness in the arms give me more freedom of motion for kayaking. If you need a shorty wetsuit and like the front-zip style, this is a good one! ... show more

I'm 5'7" and 201 lbs. On L, it was way too tight, as expected. Then tried XL based on the sizing chart provided and it was still too tight, especially the vertical sizing. Same for XXL. I was barely able to squeeze myself into XXL. XXXL was a better fit, but ultimately, I returned it to get a rear-zipper suit instead at XXXL. ... show more
