I haven't used it in water yet since it's Feb and I'll have to wait until May but wearing it seems like it's think and will keep me warm. I only had 3 mm wetsuit up until now so I'm excited to use this one. All my previous wets suits were size small. I haven't gained weight or changed sizes. So I recommend to size up for this one. Even though my husband ordered this and it was too small for him, it fit me with room for water! I have a big chest and hips (I am a woman!) but, the one for the ladies was way too small/tight! He said, "try this on" and it fit just fine!! So, ladies that are big chested and have some hips, consider ordering from the men's sizes! I just wish it came in pink or purple.. This wetsuit is much better than my old 5mm one. It is much easier to put on and take off, and is quite supple, where the old one was much stiffer fabric and uncomfortable. And the old one cost more. I consider this wetsuit a bargain. Keeps me comfortable in 58 degree water.

I am normally a size Large and I ordered a XXL on accident, well went to try it on anyways and it fits like a SMALL!!! No way this wetsuit fits anywhere near true to size. I lost this in a move and by the time I found it it was too late for me to get a refund, hope I can sell it now....smh
