This suit comes with a great feature, a full zipper that allows you to open on side of it from top to bottom. With this getting into (and out of) this suit is a breeze. Size was just as I expected, after reading through the size measurements, and fitted me perfectly. Neoprene so intended to keep you warm and comfortable in water where it covers you. Does a great job at this and has a nice amount of stretch that allows you to buy a suit that will bit snugly on you. Wet suit should never be too large or lots of water will get into them (some will get into and is expected, even desired). Too much water getting into it will compromise the suit's ability to keep you comfortably warm. Water in contact with your body inside the suit will be warmed and will keep you comfortable, too much water getting into (and out of) the suit because it is too big and you will constantly being exposed to colder water that doesn't have the time to be warmed up. This being a mid length suit it's not meant to be used in super cold waters, where you are exposed you won't be warmed up, but still it's meant to keep your core temperature comfortable. First off, let me preface this by saying I never got to use this particular item. I am returning it due to sizing and am writing this just so others can hopefully get a better sense than what the provided sizing chart says. Seems good quality. Zipper seems durable. Comfortable and easy to get on and off despite it being smaller than I anticipated. I am about 135lbs, 5'10 (so on the leaner side with relatively athletic build/broader shoulders). Got a small and the torso was perfect length but the shoulders were very, very tight. I could barely move my upper body and bending over was difficult. This is my first wetsuit 3mm shorty, my wife has owned several for diving and triathlons, we bought two one each with me ordering a large and extra large for fitting purposes, the XL was delayed a couple days. I ended up canceling the XL order as the Large fit great. My initial thoughts the stitching is ok we will see how long it lasts, great value for the money. Putting the suit on I was like wow that was easy. I zipped it up a bit and stepped into it, put arms in and zipped all the way up on the Large and it was a perfect fit at 5'7 180, 46.5" chest, 43" hips, 36" waist. My wife did the same, though she had extra material around her mid section as she is an athlete and athletic build but was fine with it and didn't affect the wetsuit performance in cold water. If you have a bit of a mid section these will fit you fine order to waist / chest size, I was between sizes L/XL and Large fit me well not too tight and with a long torso no compression from the suit on shoulders down. If you have an athletic build maybe consider a different brand as this seems to have a bit of extra material for mid section. We did our first dive in them at Sand Hollow State Park in Utah, air temp was 101 F surface water temp was 74 F, thermocline at ~30' deep was a cool 58 F, a bit colder at the bottom at 53' deep. Our longest dive was 41 minutes, we spent about 16 minutes below 30'. The wetsuit worked great kept our core warm, easy to swim / snorkel in. To take off, unzip and one leg steps out super easy. We did over 5 dives in two days and are super pleased with the wetsuit performance even at depth in some cold water. Everyone else was diving in a full 7mm wetsuit, we just laughed watching them pull, twist, turn trying to get them on or struggle swimming on the surface to the dive area. At least three people ordered these same wetsuits after watching us. We are looking forward to our cruise and diving the Caribbean in them. ... show more

I’m 5’4”, weigh 175lbs, and am pear shaped and wear a size L sports bra. I ordered the XL full body suit and it fits like a glove, except in the legs which are too long so it’s baggy at the knees and bunched up between my knees and ankles. Like others have mentioned, it’s pretty snug but tolerable in the armpits. Also, if they were any smaller, the wrist and ankle holes would be too tight for me, a person with average to small wrists and ankles. The material is nice and thick. I want to love this but it’s just too long in the legs on me, though perfect in the arms. Maybe I can just roll up the ankles and it’ll be fine. I also ordered the shorty so, if that one fits well then I might return the full body just because of the length. ... show more

I had a more expensive one before ($200). Comparing to that one, of course the more expensive one was better, it fit better, were more insulated. But for a wetsuit under a $100, this product works just fine. The fit is ok, insulation is ok. We bought two for my bf and I, it is true to size and we used in Hawaii winter which is not so cold and it worked ok. But I believe if you’re using it for a cold weather like surfing around Bay Area, invest more money and get a better one. ... show more
