I received my Zapco 6 channel SQ series Fast, probably because it came out of California and I am in Utah but that was a nice surprise. I immediately threw it on the TestBench and put her through her paces she did vary well, even popping one of my nice Onkyo 120w at 6 ohms. Reason she didn’t get 5 starts was she ran Hot and went into Protect as she should but at 6 ohms running just mids and highs, she should of just got warm certainly not hot. So it says 2ohm stable but I would highly highly recommend no one to do that, stick with 4 ohm loads. Also if your thinking about this amp I wouldn’t rule it out but if your are gonna push her hard install a cooling fan for sure. Product update, I have had this product close to a year now and I have to change my 4 stars to 5. The reason I gave it just 4 originally was it ran warm. But after the first 100hr burnin process she cooled down considerably. She still gets warm during use but only Luke with absolutely no more going into protection. In fact it has gone into protect 0 time since the original bench tests and as for the audio quality, it’s second to none, Especially after burnin. If you do buy this product you will be impressed at first and it only gets better with time. The crossover settings are a god sent perfect for running a full active 3 way component set. I absolutely love this amp it was a little more expensive then I wanted to spend on powering my mids and highs but no regrets now. I am sure I made the absolute right choice. I have bought a few other multi channel since but still favor this one for sure!! Way to go Zapco you have made a fan outta me for sure. ... show more

I've had many amplifiers for this car and this is byfar the best one. It has such an open tonality. The build quality is great and the customer service as well. I had a lot of questions regarding installation and they answered all my questions quickly. Before this amp, I was happy with JL Audio but this SHAMES Jl Audio! Edit: it's been over a year now, it's June of 2019 and I'm still as happy as a year ago. The amp doesn't run hot and has never once shut down or caused an issue it's a tank! I cannot wait to upgrade my bass amp to Zapco ... show more

    • Noise (not from inputs, routing, or ground loop)
Debugged the source of the whining to the amp. When volume is all the way down there is noise, when inputs from the DSP are unplugged the noise is there. It sounds great when turned on, but the noise at zero volume is very annoying. At this price point this shouldn't be an issue.
