I admit it, I got these on a whim. Parts of my house are so dark I figured I'd give it a shot, and we have two sets of stairs (I know, completely unnecessary.) Right before the in-laws were visiting, I put these up, and I received so many compliments and positive remarks. They even suggested adding more in the halls and asked me where I got them. Installation was way easier than I thought it would be; You can either screw them in or use the adhesive, which works very well. The sensor is quite sensitive and responds to 3-12 feet away depending on the direction you approach it. A clear shot in the dark will easily sense you and turn on, at a 90, it'll be closer to 3-4ft. My favorite feature is that you can change the brightness. It was a good 8 months before I needed to replace the batteries - and only on the ones that saw the most activity. Definitely recommend.

I wanted a light to shine on my floor when I step out of my bed and not have to turn on my lamp. This light is bright enough and soft enough not to disturb your sleep. It comes with two ways to install. Batteries are not included so if you order these make sure you get them so you can use your lights right away. Love the blue color. Quality is typical and as far as the heat, I don’t think they’re very hot and the size is nice for a placing in your bedroom, down the hallway, basement stairs, bathroom, or anywhere you may need a little extra light. Comes on as soon as it detects motion.

So the product is pretty good overall. I really like the lighting, the options, the range of the sensor is exceptional buuuut the installation arrow was upside down so it barely stays on but honestly it lights our stairs a bit better that way. Good value, not sure on battery life but we're like a month in with regular use on the stairs. The size is smaller than expected but performance was good still. Ease of installation shouldn't be an issue. Sticky back for smooth walls and screw holes for textured walls.

Bought 8.... Will be purchasing more. We live in Florida and just experienced another hurricane where we lost power. We prepared in advance and stuck these in every room. I kept one on my desk just as a light source for when I was looking for a desk item. They are a good size and my favorite part is the ability to choose from three different light types. Very handy when you don't want to blind yourself in the middle of the night when entering the bathroom! Actually, I have two favorite parts: 1. multi light modes 2. yellowy, muted light The light reminds me of old timey light bulbs .... or candle light. Very nice. No clue on battery life as I just got them, but they only stay on when there is motion so I would think batteries would last awhile? Definitely recommend these and will be buying more.

These are the best toilet lights out there. We used to use the Rainbowl and they were okay, but fell off (or into the water) easily. And the LED would burn out because we of course liked the blue color. Then we found these. They have NEVER burned out and they last a long time. I hope these never get removed from the market because we absolutely LOVE having them. These are the ones to get, just stick them on the lid of your toilet bowl and you will love your life and solve all world problems, lol. No seriously, these are fantastic and the ones to get!

Well, there was a learning curve on my part... I started with having both, the backlit portion of these lit, in addition to the bottom portion... The batteries drained quickly, and I thought I'd constantly be replacing batteries... The lighting was PERFECT to suit our needs -- my wife and I, and our new puppy, appropriately named Joy. When, at 1:30am, Joy needs to go outside to do her business and/or my wife and I, use the bathroom... Light is fabulous, and has the perfect hue. This was really well thought out, and the motion sensor is fabulous! All I had to do was use the setting (very easy) to use only the bottom portion, and they've been terrific for over a month and a half. Rechargable solar batteries have solved multiple issues, no bill at the store for replacements, and impeccable lighting. Off grid, entirely. We rarely (once a month, maybe), turn on any kind of hard-wired power light. Zero expense! These are terrific! The only issue I've had is that one of them had the internal components (electrodes) solder incorrectly, rendering that particular light useless. The seller actually reimbursed the purchase, which they didn't have to do... I merely wanted a replacement. I'd recommend these to anyone looking to use these things in such a capacity. They're accordingly perfect! I'll be buying more for several areas. Fabulous product, when you use a little common sense and realize that they have engineered these to work as they do for a reason. I hope these guys make a fortune and sell a ton! Gratefully, Brian

The motion sensor is super sensitive. Just opening the door turns it on. But the daylight sensor isn't good enough in my application, the light turns on even when the overhead lights are on. Plenty bright for a kids bathroom nightlight but also dims down enough to not wake me up at 3am. It has a directional mounting bracket design so it can't really be flipped upside down to try to limit the backlight beam. Overall happy with it.
