I am fascinated when I find cookbooks that are well designed, with photos that look real, vivid and to the point with great recipes. I'm a little picky about using AI-generated photos. I hope the illustrations in this book are real, but in any case, if they aren't, I didn't notice. The recipes are very varied and for all occasions. We have breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner, desserts. They are easy to make, and this is the most important thing, since they are focused on stimulating the pleasure of cooking to the little ones. Each recipe has its instructions, ingredients, nutritional value, preparation and cooking time, and serving. This cookbook is a fantastic find for young chefs! The recipes are super easy to follow, and the bright, colorful pictures make cooking fun. My nephews, ages 6 and 9, could read along and make some dishes independently with just a little help. I like the idea of having a cookbook for our kids, especially those who are pickier. The book has many recipes but lacks differentiation—for example, pizza and tortilla for two meals with a slight twist. Pizza Stuffed Bell Peppers and Stuffed Bell Peppers looked the same in both pictures with different angles. The grown-up might not need a recipe book for cheese and crackers or trail mix, but it is nice for the kids to make it themselves for fun. The cookbook has absolutely beautiful (and delicious-looking) photographs. The recipes are simple yet nutritious and are sure to be hits with the kiddos. I did find one “mistake” - banana sushi has sushi rice in the photo but no sushi rice in the recipe. I’d say it was an editing issue.
