The chair was easy to assemble and with their video instructions, it took about 20 minutes to assemble. In terms of comfort, the chair is firm, but very supportive and has a large leaning range. For the build quality, the wheels on the chair roll smoothly both on carpets and wood floors. The chair did not cheap out on cushioning adding support for your back which is great for long hours on the computer. The adjustable height and leaning range makes it easy to fit into different desk heights and room space. Overall, this chair offers great value for its price. This is a spectacular chair. I bought for my husband's birthday as he is a bigger fellow and the last chair I got him fell apart in like a year. After we got it assembled for him we of course both took turns test driving it. This thing is so dang comfortable. Juuuuust the right amount of firmness and plush that your bum doesn't hurt just sitting for 5 minutes. And I have a fractured tailbone so I'm picky about what chairs I sit in. What was also incredible about the chair were the wheels. Those suckers gliiiiiiide. And are quiet too. One time recently I went to go sit in the chair and pulled it out from the desk and positioned it behind me but made the mistake of letting go. The chair kept gliding slowly across the floor away from me cause the wheels are so damn smooth. Luckily I looked back before just blindly sitting or I would've wound up on the floor. All in all, fantastic chair for anyone, not just bigger people. I'm often tempted to steal the chair from my husband. If I ever find it to be in my budget, I'm getting myself one. Oh, also it was super easy to assemble. I know people tend to look for that in reviews. And it doesn't recline like some chairs. It has adjustable lumbar support and can lean back a bit, but doesn't go into a true recline. Overall, this Big and Tall Office Chair is solid and comfortable. The seat is wide, the padding is supportive, and it held up well under daily use. I weigh about 240 pounds, and for the most part, it felt sturdy and stable. The only issue I ran into was with the hydraulic piston. After long-term use, the height adjustment started to slowly deflate, which got pretty annoying over time. I eventually replaced the piston with a heavy-duty one rated for 1,000 pounds, and now it’s perfect. Still, for the price and comfort level, it’s a great chair — just be aware that the gas lift might wear out faster if you’re using it heavily. ... show more
