I've had the Yume for around 6 weeks now. Ride it daily. Usually 25 miles out in the the forest near me on paved bike trails. It's been perfect in every way. Great quality, very powerful and beautiful. It's bit heavy, but that heft is nice at 40mph..the steering dampener is a must and very effective at keeping the front planted at speed. Update.. ( I received a refund, no questioned asked, just a thank you for returning it. I purchased a different scooter in the same class for the same money. Because the scooter was sold out. I bought the JGH ultra, It showed up with damaged parts, that I had to fix ( best I could ) before riding it. it did not have hydraulic brakes , which is a must on a scooter that goes 40+ mph. It has a motorcycle type twist throttle , which has almost killed me over 10 times already and it has a serious death wobble at high speed. I tried to return it immediately but they don't want to take it back and they have done nothing about the damaged part yet. Probably stuck with it. Don't buy that brand. )) All in all the quality of the M YUME scooter WAS great. It has great features and is very water resistant. I found the steering very hard to get used to. Some days it would BE good and the next day or even on my afternoon trip home from work it felt like the steering had a mind of it's own , it would not drive straight. I fought to keep it in a straight line, very dangerous in traffic or while riding between a car and the curb. Had to slow down to 20 mph or less so I wouldn't lose control. The next day it was fine again. I kept turning the adjustment knob on the steering dampener to combat this issue , it seemed to help. Eventually I found the sweet spot and and it drove great from that day on. I debated returning it from day one due this . Finally on day 28 on my way home from the train , I felt something off with the suspension. When I looked, the rear spring shock had fell apart . The back wheel was literally hanging on by the swing arm. It looked difficult to replace or repair it, which is what I told Amazon I wanted to do. They told me to contact the seller for a replacement spring shock. I could not reach the seller, no phone number , just the name of the business . I would have had to email them and hope I heard back. By then the 30 day return policy would have expired. So I packaged it all back and sent it back on day 29. I hope get a refund. The scooter was in perfect condition , except for a broken shock. I will repost with more stars if I'm refunded in full or at all. The scooter deserves a 4 star probably. The battery indicator dips to zero charge when full throttle with both motor on as well. I got 15 miles max on it. With dual motors on in 3 rd gear. The stem doesn't lock down either , which is a big con, for carrying it on and off the train. 77 lbs is no joke either. Also it doesn't go 43 mph as advertised. I got 40 mph on a flat , barely. But I'm 225 lbs , so I get that. You really had no need to go faster than 40 mph. In my opinion, a max speed of 40 is perfect. ... show more

Yume did a fantastic job on packaging, in fact, it's one the best packaging for a scooter I ever seen, the scooter itself comes with a lot of accessories, everything you can possibly want comes with the scooter, however I do highly recommend that you replace the mirrors because the positioning it's not that great, and you really can't see what's happening behind you, plus, at high speeds they will vibrate, the thumb throttle is very responsive and controllable, the brakes are good and the stem is very sturdy, the deck should've been a little wider and longer because of the stem height, I also have the nanrobot d6 which is almost perfect in every way, except for the constant flats I've been getting lately, the yume hawk is a very nice scooter for experience riders that enjoys riding in high speeds, the steering damper is a must, and the suspension is good, the lights is the main attraction because you can change the colors to your preference, plus it comes with a remote control, once you ride it constantly and get a good feeling of the do's and don't and become familiar with every aspect of the scooter, this could be a perfect choice for commuting around the city or just joy riding, I just wish the deck was just a little wider and longer like the d6 or the Ls7 Nanrobot, which also gives you more control of your P settings to adjust to your preference of riding, Yume P-settings is very limited to just factory settings, you have to get comfortable with what you got, and use your gears to adjust your ride, they also say the tires are tubeless, but the scooter comes with a air pump, why ? You can't really do better than this at this price point because of all the accessories this particular scooter is a very nice product you will learn to enjoy through experience with just riding it constantly, but always stay safe and wear a helmet, we only have this one life to live. ... show more
