Very surprised at the sturdiness of these bar stools. My husband is 6’2” and I was worried about them being sturdy enough for him. We have been using them for several weeks and we really like them! Our last bar stools were too heavy and had protruding legs that we were always kicking. They were hard to pull out and took up too much space. I love the smaller foot print of the base, but still big enough for support. The swivel makes them more user friendly, and the height can be adjusted for a perfect fit. I also love the ring around the bottom that protects your floors. I got the fabric ones and the gray is a good neutral that works with all my other furniture. The seat is definitely big enough for adults. They were very well packaged and made it to Hawaii with no problem, that’s always a concern shipping here. Very easy to put together. I needed no help. I would definitely buy them again. Will they last for years? Time will tell, but for the price, definitely worth it.

I haven’t order furniture from Amazon before and was a little worried that the quality wouldn’t be there by going this route. Our previous kitchen island stools were needing replacement and I went looking at Crate & Barrel, Pottery Barn, CB2… And just couldn’t find the look I wanted. Something simple, modern, and not ordinary. Somehow, I decided to look on Amazon and came across these. And I’m pleasantly surprised at the quality, the ease to assemble and the price point. I was able to assemble each stool in under 10 minutes. They’re very sturdy, easy to adjust the height, and look phenomenal— especially on our modern kitchen against our white quartz waterfall island. I would highly recommend these to anyone on the market for new stools.

I received a completely different set of stools. They were easy to assemble, but not what I ordered. For the purpose of being helpful, I’ll go ahead and also add that these are not too hard but the seat isn’t soft either. Can be put together in less that 5 minutes and are very sturdy.

I bought 4 of these chairs for my short term rental and kinda regret it. I was going to return it but didn’t want to go through the trouble so we kept it. The look is nice and I’m sure the pistons will hold up, but it’s just too light weight and wobbles easily. My biggest concern is safety for my guests. If it weighed maybe another 15 lbs would be better as to would be more stable on the floor.

When you attach the seat upside down to the top post look for the arrow that must point to the word “front”. Otherwise the seat won’t lift when you place it in the bottom post, speaking from experience. I assembled the seat on my table top in photo. It comes with white gloves so that’s cool. —-And separate packets of bolts for each stool, so don’t panic when there’s only one bolt left and look for the other packet!
