My husband wrote this review since he installed them: These fans are great! I've installed several ceiling fans, and these are very standard and easy to install. The canopy against the ceiling is large, so there's no problem fitting the control box and wires inside. The instructions aren't great, but none are these days. We wanted 2 remote controlled fans, with lights, for our screened in porch, and hoped that they could be linked so they could be controlled with one remote. These fans do all of that. The remote is great, the instructions tell you how to link the fan (hold a button after powering on). FAST! You can LINK TWO FANS TO ONE REMOTE, no problem. The LED lights are great, and we did not realize, are temperature adjustable. We had two different colored LEDs which isn't so clear in the manual, so I emailed customer support and they replied quickly. It was a very easy fix to change the cool light setting to warm. Also, these fans PUSH A TON OF AIR, and since the blades are plastic, they are easy to clean and we won't get the droopy sad fans on the back porch again. Like everyone else said, they are DC fans, so they are VERY QUIET. Great product.

After 3 attempts to install this light I give up. The tolerances for wiring and installing the fan control are so close that I finally gave up. I am a jack of all trades but this fan was not designed well. A 1/4 inch more of clearance on the mounting bracket is all it would take. Anyway I would not recommend anyone to buy this product!

So, they aren't lying when they call this a "small" fan. It's really lightweight and took my super no time to install, however, for me... I wasn't a really big fan of the output of air and it seems like I almost had to stand directly underneath it to really feel any air at all. It's ok since it's still Spring, however, I'm very concerned about how well this stands up during a heatwave; you will very likely still need your a/c along with the fan in order for this to really be a value. Overall, I guess its decent for the price abd I do like the remote. I just wouldn't count on it as my ONLY SOURCE of air during the hotter months

first off, I have put in a couple of fans this week that looked very similar but were thought out completely different...with this one being the better one both for operation, remote and (accept for one issue) installation. The fan is light in weight and easy to handle when installing. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the product well thought out from an installation point of view...especially the wiring which is as close to fool proof as you can get if you have any business at all working with residential wiring. All the wires for the fan, light kit, and remote wireless receiver unit are set up with unique plugs that can only plug into one spot....so you cannot mess the wiring up. The fan went together easily and in a short time. The only install issue was when I opted for the short hanging pole (there is a short and a long depending upon how far down from the ceiling you want it to hang). The pole, is very short and made it very difficult to work the final connection to the house wiring and to then insert the wireless remote receiver unit into the light. The pole was so short that it made it so that the decorative cover that goes against the ceiling to hide the wiring connections was in the way of both my sight and my hands. I really labored with trying to work with this as there simply was not enough space allowed. They really needed to make the short hanger pole about 2 inches longer. The remote operates as one would expect with all buttons making good sense visually and doing what you would expect them to do based on the icons. The light will retain the settings for the light temperature and fan speed when you turn the wall switch off and on. All in all I like the fan though it looks a little plastic for my tastes in real life.

This product arrived quickly and in minimal packaging. I have mixed reviews regarding this fan. let me start by saying that this fan is much lighter than the other two fans I installed BUT the reason is because its all plastic and it is very visibly plastic just by looking at it. many other fans try to make their fans look better than they actually are. Looking at this fan you instantly know the thing is entirely plastic and also kind of makes it look cheap. Installing this fan was a little easier than the other one I installed but the short version which was the one I went with is a little more difficult to install but that's not a deal breaker. the light is odd, it for some reason doesn't light up the whole room but only directly under the fan. That is not an issue for me but be aware. I feel the price of the plastic fan is a little to expensive, I would feel like $80 is more spot on for this fan. BUT the fan does work and it works pretty well so I would recommend it.
