the directions were a bit confusing at first but it works great. The size was perfect. I haven't used the solar panel for charging yet because the whole thing fell and that part broke. oh well. The media could not be loaded. I was pleased with these blinds at first. They were way cheaper than the big name brand blinds that I could only afford for one window. However, our internet went out and suddenly that messed up the entire system. One set we could fix but the other set would not reset and kept telling us to set the upper and lower limits. We could not figure out how to do that and our kid went to open the blinds without the limits set and some string inside the blinds must have snapped because the whole thing came crashing down. Husband tried reaching out to Yoolax since they should be under warranty still, and it has been about 2 weeks with no response. In addition to all this, the app is extremely hard to figure out. It’s like you need a PhD just to program the blinds to open halfway at the same time every day. Isn’t it ironic how we keep trying to use technology to make our lives better and easier and yet it ends up costing us so much time and money in maintaining everything, and nobody questions it. Unless Yoolax stands by their product and decides to help us, I would caution that you do not purchase these blinds unless you want to throw away $200-300 for only a few months of usage.

I absolutely love the sheer blinds and blackout option. It was difficult to follow the instructions to install these blinds. I do not like that the battery is external to the blinds. Also, the instructions to setup the remote is not very helpful at all. I still get the blinds going up crocked but later corrects itself. Sometimes it opens completely instead of opening to the blackout or sheer parts. Just overall difficult to setup.

The blinds looks so pretty and material feels luxurious. The seller is very responsive and have actual personal I. The US to provide supports. My window is not perfectly square so based on my measurements one of the blind doesn’t fit, I contacted the seller they offered to make an alternative size blind to fit my window without charging me the entire shade. The replacement came in fast! It is definitely a two person job to install for the larger windows but compared to order from 3 day blinds it is half price and much better quality and style!

Let me begin by saying thatI have some very large windows in my home. Because of that, the window coverings were heavy, rarely opened, and led to having a dark home most of the time. So, the Yoolax motorized Day and Night shades promised to be a perfect solution for a light and airy breakfast room. They have simple remote control operation for up to full light (wide-open), 50% light, and complete privacy (up to 100% dark).They have transformed an airy feeing to the entire room. The shades arrived in about two weeks, everything was high quality, and installation was straightforward. If required, a number of helpful videos are available on YouTube. If you have some hesitation, this would be a simple job for a local handyman. During the course of installation, there was a miscommunication on one measurement, and the company remedied it in short order to my complete satisfaction. E-mail communications with the company were all handled within 24 hours. One last comment: there is also a solar panel option that eliminates the need to periodically recharge the lithium battery. I still have to try that out. John

With limited use so far, the quality seems nice. They were easy to hang and quiet enough when working. About the same level as my ThirdReality shades. It looks like they're a great choice if you're an Alexa user. Unfortunately I don't use Alexa. I bought the highly over priced generic hub that isn't even wireless. The setup instructions still say 'download the "your brand" app'. The setup with the remote is very odd and not descriptive. They have sections like "how to re-connect your motor" and give a series of button commands to do it, but I don't know what this means for why I'd want to do it. I tried using my Hubitat to control it instead of their generic hub, but the shades wouldn't work properly with the remote or Google once I set the shade up with Hubitat. I have the day/night cellular shades, so just the regular shades look like they might work better with Hubitat. The shades also take up quite a bit of vertical space when open since they really are two sets of shades in one. I hooked them back up to the generic hub where I can use the day/night functionality with the remote and can use the night functionality with Google. Google doesn't know about the day part of the shade and Google can't control opening by a percentage. They are only open or closed, not open 75%. The app control in Google Home is pretty nonsensical. With a start/stop button, an on/off button pair, an open/close button pair, and a battery indicator that doesn't seem to be accurate. I use their remote if I want to use the day shade functionality or partially open/close the shades, and use Google to open/close the shades automatically at sunrise/sunset. It's all working, but I feel I over paid and don't even have access to everything I paid for.
