At first I kind of balked at the thought of paying for shipping on Amazon, BUT it came FAST!!! I think a week earlier than told. I think the only downside, is I wish some of the ceiling beams were labeled with a top and bottom. I love the thickness of the posts. The posts are a wood look. I wanted this to match my house so I painted the posts white. Everything seems sturdy once it's altogether. I love this and I am so glad I purchased it! I read other reviews before buying and then read again for tips for assembling. Be prepared for 2 people to work on this with 2 ladders (at least 6 foot+) for a day and a half. Unpack Everything and check off to make sure it's all there. Then group all same letter parts together and organized. All the As together, Bs, etc. This will make it easier to find and expedite putting it together. There's only pictures; no word instructions. There's a few parts we're the written instructions would clarify better. Again it is so nice! I got the 12x16 and it's the perfect size! ... show more

Just finished erecting my gazebo and thankfully all parts were provided! Waited until I completed it before writing this review (and no I’m not sponsored). Initially started with 1:4 boxes missing and support quickly rectified issue and sent a replacement box out. After a couple of weeks of taking up room in my house I began my mission and boy was it a mission! Between battling Florida rain and sun it took approximately 3 days to complete with 2 people and 2 - 8 foot ladders. Could’ve been done in 2 good days of work but it’s exhausting being outside building… Definitely have a drill or electric screwdriver with hex bit ready to assemble. Other than that and a screwdriver you don’t need anything else. Instructions were on point but vague in some areas. Check YouTube for other similar gazebos under different name brands and it’ll help tremendously. ** Biggest tip is to not tighten down anything until you’re fully completed with one full step. If you don’t follow that tip you’ll be fighting trying to fit panels and pieces together for hours. Fit everything and lightly screw in screws and come back later for them, you’ll thank yourself I promise. Great sense of accomplishment once completed and seems like a really solid product once all bolted down. Great product like I said, but be ready for at least 2 days of building if it’s just 2 people and it’s definitely not a 1 person job at all. ... show more

I’ll go with the cons first: Wood post are not solid wood. It looks as though they are in the pics. They are not. They are actually 4 boards put together to make a post with a filler piece on top and bottom to make them look solid. They look great! But they are not solid. Not a deal breaker for me, but I was a little disappointed to find this out. -Roof joints do not go together as I expected. The have about a 1/4” lap joint between each section. I pictured this being a bit more weather proof. -Roof is very thin. About 1/4” thick. The construction of the roof requires you to be on the roof many times to construct certain parts. It’s difficult as you can’t bear weight on many areas. -pictures look as though there are metal slats at each roof joint for a decorative look. These slats are actually wood that is painted black. They provide no sealant for between the roof joints and slats. I ended up putting a bead of waterproof tar on the side of each roof joint before putting the slat down. I’m pretty sure water would easily leak through each joint if tar was not used. I have yet to have it rain on our gazebo so time will tell. -more about the wooden slats….they are very light weight wood, and I feel like they could weather very quickly. Web site said the wood is coated with something to help it withstand the elements…we shall see. -I am very nimble and and I don’t mind a challenge, but I’m a bit annoyed working on the roof. Much more challenging than I thought it would be. Now the pros— I feel like my cons list would immediately make people not purchase this. I just want people to know what I would have liked to have known about this particular model. - I love the look of this thing. It really looks just like the pictures online. - the roof is thinner than I thought, post are hollow, but the gazebo is pretty solid once everything is together. Seems like it should hold up pretty well. - under side of roof looks amazing. The wood color and grain has a great feel to it! - wood construction makes it easier to replace something on your own. If a post were to break or rot, you could easily replace it with a treated 6 x 6. This made the wood model over the metal ones a bit more appealing to me. - construction overall is easy. If you put everything together just like the manual says, it should go pretty smooth. All the screw and bolt holes lined up perfect. Just make sure you really follow where each piece goes number by number. If you swap parts, holes may not line up in a different step. Overall review—- beautiful patio gazebo. some of the materials are not what I expected. Roof joints concern me a bit with leaking…. But overall I am pleased with the unit and would recommend it. So far…. We’ll see how it holds up through the next 4 seasons. I’ll change my rating to 4 stars if it holds up well. ... show more

Hard to buy a pricey product via the internet, but this one is great. Sturdy, good looking, well engineered. Everything fit together well. Don’t underestimate the amount of work and skill needed to put this together. Instructions are good. Organize everything up front, lots of nuts and bolts, separate and label before starting. Took two of us two full days. Getting the roof panels in place was pretty challenging, took almost a whole day just for the panels. Need two ladders. Overall, worth the effort and cost. Am a little worried about the heat that it may generate from a black metal roof this coming summer. ... show more

Wasn’t too bad. I assembled the majority of it alone; 10 hours total. When it came time for the roof panels I installed the outer perimeter (Loosely) so the panels wouldn’t slide out. This worked out well as the materials had enough bend in them. Additionally I assembled the roof framing as a whole then I placed it on top. Not saying it was easy but it worked out for me. Sturdiness is okay. I did have an issue with one of the threaded inserts, luckily the defect wasn’t at a critical location (free spin). Time will tell how long it will last. I installed it on a wooden deck (installed studs where I missed joists). I will update once it has survived a few storms. ... show more
