Exceeded expectations in appearance, design, durability and ease of assembly. My wife and I assembled in three days taking several breaks in the low 90° temperatures. We liked the appearance in the manufacturer’s photos and selected from those photos. Read several reviews and made decision based on both. We knew we would not have help to assemble posts to side and erect frame, but with those items being constructed from aluminum the weight was doable for us. First box of 6 arrived in two days and remaining 5 the following day. The first box contained the roof framework and side structure that connected to the corner posts. Box was burst open on both ends and was severely damaged. After opening and inspecting contents, we found no damage. The remaining 5 boxes arrived with the exception of one of the flatter boxes containing the roof panels with no damage. One of the flat boxes had a couple gouges on the flat side. When opened the roof panels had dents. After evaluating situation, we decided we could use those on side that was not in our view but side neighbor would view. After assembling dented panels on roof, it was hard to find damage. Another persons review said screens and curtains were cheap quality. We did not find that to be true. We didn’t plan on using screens and curtains, but installed anyway and will store during winter months. We are not bothered with insects just flies. After using screens and eliminating flies, we will definitely use during summer months. The zippers work well and slide easily to open and close. Our experience with zippered curtains and screens in the past has been they don’t operate well. The appearance of the finish is very pleasing and attention to detail of trim and exposed fits are above expectation. I did not have enough 6mm X 47mm long screws. I contacted seller requesting they send me 6 to complete assembling roof panels and as I suspected they gave me $15 credit to purchase at local hardware. I’m sure these are packed in China and seller does not have any hardware. Only problem is local hardware stores are limited in selection. I visited 2 hardware stores with no success. I found 6mm X 50 at Lowes that I cut excess off and painted head black to match. Also, I mentioned box damage and the two sheets of roof damage FYI, but didn’t ask for compensation as I informed I could use on back side out of view. They also gave me $15 credit for damaged roof. They responded next day, so customer service responded immediately and addressed my needs. I would definitely recommend this amazing Gazebo. It is very time consuming to assemble, but as other reviews have said, take your time and follow the illustrations and you want be disappointed with this Gazebo. I am impressed with the overall design and sturdiness. Assembly instructions were clear enough, even though they are pictorial only. I advise looking ahead a little to check next steps. I disagreed with the steps when it came to the roof. instead of laying out all the roof panels and putting the clips on, I found the panels I needed for the next step and put the Z clips on as I put the panels up and I put one or 2 screws in the panel to hold it in place while we put the other panels up. I was able to do most of the assembly by myself. I built the first part upside down with the legs up in the air. Then I needed some help to turn it over (wife and 13 year old grand daughter). I also needed help putting roof panels on (one more person). One person cannot reach far enough to align the top of the panels and put the nuts on the screws or tighten them, it takes 2. The manufacture did provide a few extra screws, spacers and Z clips. Apparently in case of loss or other problems. This was nice. I did have trouble with a couple screws out of a couple of hundred. One cross threaded (probably my fault) and I couldn't straighten it out. Where it was, I was able to drill next to it and put in a bolt and nut all the way through a roof support brace. Another acted a bit like it may have stripped or the captive nut spun. But, where it was, I felt it was good enough as is. All of the holes lined up well and alignment was not a problem. If they don't you may just need to make sure the unit is square. My only criticism would be: 1.) there seem to be no written instructions anywhere and no contact or customer service number to call if you need help or replacement parts. Possibly the seller would be the contact. 2.) the lower drip edge does not have enough support in my opinion. It is only held in the middle and and at the corner of the roof and is pretty thin metal. Living where it snows I was concerned that snow would push the edge off and bend it. So, I added two sheet metal screws for each piece. So 16 screws. I got painted #8 x 1/2 stainless steel screws (for windows) at the local hardware store. Drilled through the trim and roof and screwed them in from underneath. They are hidden from by the trim on the topside and dark brown from the lower side. This made the trim much more secure. ... show more

Ok, like everyone else here I will mention how much of a PAIN the assembly is. Specifically the roof...but once it's up you'll love it. I purchased mine months in advance (June) knowing I would wait to put it together until late August. After reading reviews, I was worried something would be missing and it would be too late to ask for missing parts. Their customer service was amazing and immediately responded with "If you need anything, reach out and we will make it right." There was no need, though. We were good with the exception of a handful of the longer screws. There were spots on the roof where the panels may have been slightly bent and the screw wasn't long enough to make it through the support beam. We stole the screws needed for another location and went to our local hardware store for replacements. It wasn't a huge deal - a minor inconvenience. This took 3 days and 2 people. Occasionally we enlisted the kids, but it was more so to get them away from screens and spend time outside. There were moments where some colorful words were spoken. This roof is really something else lol but like I said, once it's up, it's great! There are pros and cons to this thing, but really I expect this to last a long time. It's definitely secure. The assembly is all intertwined, so one piece is secured my multiple others. If you get this, good luck! But also enjoy. It's going to work wonderfully for our space. ... show more
