The unit's heat efficiency is poor. Takes roughly 5 to 6 hours to heat a 10ft X 12ft room with a chilled temp of 65 Degrees Fahrenheit. The remote operation, as well as unit button features are sketchy. You must hold buttons down for 4-5 seconds before responses are registered. Causes operator concern whether item is responsive. Unit meets visual satisfaction but is impractical for us as a needed heating source. ... show more

These heaters are beautiful!!!! Assembly was so easy and the heat output far exceeds what we anticipated. The only thing we were a little disappointed with was the height of the flames. Other than that very satisfied with our purchase. However the true test comes when we receive our electric bill

    • Nice Fireplace with Issues
Love the look and operation of the fireplace with one small exception. The remote control is the same frequency as my LG tv remote. The channel button on my TV remote turns the fireplace on and off and the volume button on my TV remote changes the color of the flames. This is a little aggravating but I can't say it's the fault of either the fireplace or the TV. The workaround is change the channel on the TV with the channel guide rather than the channel up/down button. This keeps the fireplace from turning on so then the volume button has no effect. Otherwise I would give the fireplace a 5 rating. However, knowing what I know now I would buy a different brand fireplace to avoid the conflict. So as long as you don't own a LG tv you won't go wrong with this fireplace. Update 11/23/20: The fireplace has developed a rather annoying knock anytime it is on. It's ok when the TV is on to drown it out, but with no other noises in the room it drives me crazy and I have to turn it off. I definitely do not recommend this product for purchase. Update 3/27/21: the noise got so bad I had to open it up and unhook the flicker bar motor. It still lights up and heats, but no flicker motion any more. At least it's silent now. ... show more

    • A great replacement for our 5th Wheel RV
After just a month in a used 5th wheel we purchased the fireplace went out. This one was less than half the cost of replacing the original one. It has better heat output (We can feel it from across the room), and the fire is exactly the same effect as the original, but with the added color of blue. We just chocked that up to a bonus. Super easy to install as long as the opening in your wall is the right size. Just unbox, plug in, slide into place, install 4 screws, place magnetic trim piece on, and you're ready to go. ... show more

I love this little weird fireplace. We got it in the summer so itโ€™s hard to tell how warming it is. There is a fan which blows the heat strongly but it wasnโ€™t noticeably warmer either. I may have to update in winter months. But the atmosphere of a fireplace in our tiny little apartment is just what we were looking for. The color changing flames is so neat and magical. We definitely prefer the โ€œlogsโ€ to the crystals and they donโ€™t look as fake as I thought they would. ... show more
