These cross bars are cosmetically identical to the OEM cross bars for my 2015 Toyota Highlander Platinum. I purchased these in November for the sole purpose of tying my Christmas tree to the top of my car. As I write this review I have had them installed for a little over 2 months. The bars arrived free of damage with no missing parts. Installation was simple for one person to do by themself and took me about 20 minutes. This job could be done in less time but I really took my time ( a little OCD I guess). So far the paint has held up. There is a little bit of wind noise introduced. This noise is no different than what you would get with the OEM bars. I do plan in removing the bars until next November when I plan on using them again for the next tree. It is so easy to install and uninstall these that you really could only put them on when you need them. ... show more

I recently leased a 2019 Toyota Highlander and asked about roof racks. They quoted me a price well above $350 so I decided to give these a try. My husband said they were easy to assemble and he had them installed on my car in no time at all. We used them this past week on a family vacation to attach a baggage carrier and they were sturdy.     • Great product poor support
I purchased this product for my 2015 Toyota Highlander. It seemed like a good product for the price. When it arrived the construction was excellent, very sturdy product. For that I give it a five star rating. However upon installation all of the arrows went different ways. The front bar should’ve been pointing to the front of the car but to install it I had to pointed to the back. The end pieces that mount to the car had to go the other way. So in essence I think I got the wrong pieces, but I wasn’t sure. So, I contacted the customer support number that the company gave if there were any questions. I stated in my first email that I purchased this from Amazon. Throughout the week of going back-and-forth with the emails, they asked for photos, order numbers everything related to the purchased item. This morning after five days of emails, they informed me that since I purchase this through Amazon, I needed to contact Amazon. So I am just returning it. It seems like a great product, I wish it would’ve worked. But because of the poor customer service that I received from the company, I am giving them a one star rating. ... show more

Installation was easy and the product seems sturdy. Have yet to use the product with anything but it seems comparable to the OEM crossbars that I am used to. Only issue was that the crossbars were mislabeled from front to back but was easily corrected since the mounting brackets only install one way. ... show more

    • Difficult install-requires a special offset Phillips screwdriver that is not supplied
First off they do not provide an offset screwdriver to tighten the set screws from underneath after they are installed. Second, the rear bar cannot be installed as per instructed. The left/right brackets facing “front” as specified requires the bar labeled rear to face forward. Either the “read” sticker is put on backward or the brackets or wrong. ... show more

Fairly easy to install. Had to figure out which direction to turn them... the sticker that says rear also has arrows that point to what I assumed would be the rear of the vehicle... but after trying the fit both ways, I feel it fits better for the arrows to face toward the front of the vehicle. Maybe I’m wrong, but it just seems confusing to me, when I see Rear with arrows, I assume that they will point to the rear. Otherwise a simple installation. ... show more

For the price these are great. The only difference i can see are the ends are completely plastic on the yitamotor bars as others are metal. We will see how they last but I think they will workout great.
