The media could not be loaded. This year my wife and daughter-in-law wanted something I did not make out of old pallets for our flock refreshing. This one is really nice, they are happy with it. The frame is galvanized fencing with push pins set up like a tent frame. The frame is very easy to assemble. I put the frame together in about 20 minutes. The door would have been easier with two people to line up the hinge pieces. Attaching the poultry netting took a little longer, the included zip-ties are really not that great - they twist the wrong way and break with very little tension. They are certainly not generous with the poultry netting either, so you end up having to use those curled-up end pieces most people throw away or store in a barn someplace but never use. If I have to do it over I would: 1) Get another roll of poultry netting (1 Meter/ 3 Foot tall, the lightweight plasticky green kind) so I wouldn't have had to be so careful to use every inch of what was provided 2) Buy some decent quality 6" zip-ties, about 500 or so, and put the provided ones with my cable management stuff for like, cell phone charging cables. It would have taken me a lot less time to finish the project had I done those two things. You will need: A 1/2" or 13mm wrench and a 1/2" or 13mm socket (or a second wrench). They provide one of those stamped steel bicycle wrenches. I didn't even open it. A pair of side-cutters (6") to cut the fencing and zip-tie ends. Gloves (they provide a pair, pretty small, they fit my wife). A roll of bailing twine might be helpful if you want to lace the netting seams together. The provided hardware is all M5x45 with standard M5 nuts. If you lose any hardware (I lost a nut) 5/16-18 x 1-3/4 or 2 will work just fine, but you will also have to buy 5/16-18 nut to fit the bolts. If you expect problems with predation, you will want heavier netting and you will have to net the bottom. The provided netting will be fine for hawks, owls and other raptors but raccoons will just chew through the netting or figure out the door latch, and weasels, stoats or fishers will just burrow underneath the bottom frame bar. It's preventable, the frame is sturdy but you will need heavier netting, net the bottom, and racoon-proof the door catch. Overall I am very happy with this coop at the price.

This coop was horrible to put up. Both #5 Poles were missing drill holes. We had to get 2 longer bolts to make it work. Can't contact the original seller, only Amazon. Amazon was only willing to refund me $45. The coop was $155. I should have just spent the $700 again and built my own coop from scratch. Took 2 of us two days to put up. Lost chunks of skin to this coop and the wire has cut me up pretty good.

This item shipped fast. The poles and corners are decent quality, but the tarp, bungees and zip ties are not up to par. I would recommend using your own chicken wire from a hardware or feed store. The zip ties are only good enough for tying the upper and lower chicken wire together see image (white zip ties came with the set, I bought the green ones), buy more than 200 zip ties at a hardware store. The chicken wire is vey flexible not like ones you buy from hardware/feed stores so it doesn't keep it's position when you fold corners to hide the ends. The tarp is too short to get to all edges and the bungees are so small it's like they were made for children's tents, we used them, but, had to stretch them so much the tarp seemed to almost rip so we had to use 2 in some of the holes. The tarp does not have enough holes to attach it to the frame, I can lift up an area and fit my whole arm inside to feed them. The door latch is wonky and tricky to work. It took me and my husband about an hour to put the frame and door together, wrapping it in the chicken wire with zip ties and putting on the tarp took about a couple hours. I'd set a day aside to do this if you're gonna buy this. I would not buy this again. 3 stars for fast shipping and decent quality frame.

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for something to put my little Wood small chicken coop under. I also wanted to have space to lock the chickens up where they would be safe from predators. This product is perfect. All the parts were functional and it was easy to put together. it came with everything you needed to assemble it. If you follow the instructions, you’re not gonna have any issues. I had chicken wire left over because I saw in one review that they said they really were sparing on it so I was very careful with the chicken wire when I put it together and I had plenty left over so I’m not really sure how they assembled it . My chickens love it and they have not escaped yet. I did add another section of tarp that way it’s covered a little bit more which was way easy to do. I bought an enclosure so that I could store under. . My chickens love it and they have not escaped yet. Package arrived damaged with a few of the posts damaged as well. There were no assembly instructions or parts list/diagram so assembly was a guessing game. O e of the posts wouldn't slide into the other posts s the end had to be sanded down so that it was a small enough diameter to fit into the other post. The included zip ties are horrible quality and useless.... they break when you pull them tight. The tarps included are very low quality as well. The gate latch is low quality as well. Not sure how long this will last but I honestly believe it would be better just to by posts and connectors to build your own as it would be better quality. This thing is really overpriced for the quality.
