23 Dec 2025 bought 1 Yitahome mini split and 2 Costway mini splits. The Yitahome had a 90 day warranty. The Yitahome unit works great in summer. The condescending keeps freezing and it's not even the coldest part of winter. I took pictures. No issues with costway and the costway unit has a 2 year warranty. Very disappointed. I'm a disabled veteran. I demand a refund and the costway unit is $100 cheaper.

I bought this for my 2 car garage. I'm married, so I spend a LOT of time out there, but it gets really hot / cold. This unit was very easy to install by myself and cools the garage off in no time. I wanted to use it for a while before leaving a review, and it's really impressed me for months now. I love the app, if I know I'm going to be working in the garage after work, I'll turn the unit on using my phone just before I leave the office. The remote works great also, and is backlit for use in dark rooms. My favorite thing is how quiet this unit is. It's virtually silent! The outside unit is essentially silent all the time and the only time I really notice the inside unit is if I set the fan to Turbo. As the product description clearly shows, there is one side guard and a valve side cover that are not included with this unit. I was planning to make a side guard from an old wire refrigerator shelf, but it really doesn't need it once installed, so I left it. The valve side cover isn't really needed either, but I covered the area with some insulation. I may 3D print or make a cover from aluminum sheet later. For the price, this is a LOT of comfort. It makes an unbearable garage into a comfortable place to hang out. Buy it. If my central HVAC ever goes out, I'm installing several of these so each room will be the exact temperature I want and it will save many thousands over buying a single replacement unit.
