Ok so I waited about a week to leave a review even tho as soon as I opened it I was not happy! They advertised this as black which it definitely is not! It is definitely a very deep navy blue which I don’t recall them advertising a navy blue. I believe I remember one other person in the comments saying they received blue as well. I did not return or refund because 1, I needed it the next day for my kids who were coming to town to visit me in my new beach apartment. 2, because let’s just be honest who’s going to go through the trouble to return a whole couch in the mail? Once the box is open it’s close to impossible to put it back in because the way the box is designed you have to basically tear the whole thing apart to get the couch out! So that was the first problem. The second is it is extremely hard and not comfortable at all! It’s like sleeping on a slab of cement with a very hard thin padding! I had my daughter and niece who are two smaller petite teen / young adults then I let them have my bed for a few nights and my body is paying for it and probably will be for days. The cheap twin 6 inch blow up mattress from the dollar general was more comfortable then this pos! I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone to be honest with you but especially anyone who actually wants this to be of any function besides decorative and even that I personally don’t care for the design of it either. When in couch mode there’s a big open gap between the head rest/back of the couch that to me just looks a little odd so I us d it to store extra pillows and then threw a decorative blanket over it but I’ll be selling this one and replacing it as soon as I find something better. In my opinion it’s a huge waste of close to $400! Had they not sent me the wrong color it might have gotten 2 stars but idk the way my body feels that’d be generous. As far as putting it together I guess it wasn’t horrible. I did it by myself, I’m a 41 year old woman fairly good at putting things together. It took a couple try’s trying to align the arms to the sides to the couch but other then that it wasn’t too bad, took me maybe 45 minutes. There are some screws and stuff required. The foot of the bed/couch was a little tricky by yourself as well but it is doable if you read the instructions properly and take your time. Just disappointing for the end result to be something you have no desire to use. This will be a decorative piece in my apartment until I find something better. ... show more

They sent a navy blue instead of black like I ordered but it actually matches better so that worked out. I love the softness of the material used! It's very nice to the touch. As far as laying on it, it's hard. Not a mattress, or soft cushy couch. This sofa bed is not comfortable at all. It feels like the old style sofa bed that had the iron bar on your back like 1960’s model. Foam pad on top helps but it wasn’t worth it.

Very easy to build, did it by myself in about 30 minutes and I'm a 5'3" woman. Not very comfortable to sleep in for a long time, but nice for just lounging in my office or just have friends sleep for one night. If I had to have people sleep on it for longer, I'd probably buy a small matress to put on top. The pull-out part in barely connected to the rest of the couch but it keeps together better than the ones with velcro. ... show more
