Don’t buy. Installed first unit and worked great for a week. Called a/c repair out and they couldn’t get it to take a charge. Worked with warranty and got a replacement outdoor unit shipped to me. Now, 2 months later, won’t cool again.

Worked great for the first four months. Then it started to freeze up in 40 degree weather. Had an HVAC guy look at it and he tested everything, said there were no leaks and seemed fine. Perhaps had lost its charge but recharging would be nearly as much as I paid for it. I ended up buying a different brand (Senville) of which I have in another space in my home and haven't had issues with it for years. He said you can't find parts for this thing in the States, only China. So, if anything were to go wrong after you charge it, you are still SOL. ... show more

Had this unit installed about 2 months ago and now I am having issues. Noticed the unit was making unusual noises when I went out to check it out I noticed the coil was frozen. My technician tell me based on what he can see. Either the defrost board it’s not working or the gas leaked out. I don’t know who to reach out for help regarding warranty and parts. Any help ... show more

For People having Issues getting the Unit to connect with the WIFI. I have successfully connected to the APP after troubleshooting the issue. It turns out that the WIFI card these units use are not compatible with WPA+WPA2 AES encryption. You must setup your wifi the following way. create a 2.4ghz wifi ssid and password and configure it to use wpa+wpa2 with TKIP encryption and not AES encryption. once you do this, you will not have a problem connecting to the app. I am attempting to see if Yitahome has a newer WIFI card that supports AES encryption as TKIP is no longer considered safe by network standards but this is currently the only way I was able to get the yitahome to connect to my wifi and APP. Hope this helps people with the issue of not connecting to their WIFI. ... show more
