Haven’t tested the heat mode yet (not exactly cold out), but based on the build quality and cooling output, I expect it’ll perform just as well. Install was smooth and straightforward. Everything included worked exactly as it should—mounting hardware, line set, remote, all solid. For DIYers: you’ll need to supply your own disconnect breaker, indoor/outdoor breakers, and feed wire. That’s standard for most installs, but worth knowing upfront so you can order everything together. Both the indoor and outdoor units look clean and professional. The system runs quiet, cools fast, and is priced right for what you get. Bottom line: Whether you're a contractor like me or a confident DIYer, this unit delivers. No gimmicks—just reliable performance and a clean install.

Title: Super Quiet, Energy Efficient, and Easy to Install – Great Value Review: I installed the YITAHOME 18,000 BTU mini split in my home, and so far it has exceeded expectations. The unit is super quiet—both the indoor and outdoor components run smoothly with barely any noise, which makes a huge difference in comfort compared to traditional systems. Installation was straightforward with just a few tools. The included kit covers everything you need, and while I did choose to cut and reflair the lines myself, the process was not difficult. This gave me flexibility during the install and ensured a clean, professional finish without needing to call in extra help. Performance-wise, the system cools a large space quickly and evenly (up to around 1,250 sq. ft. as advertised). The inverter technology and 19 SEER2 efficiency rating are impressive—already noticing lower energy use compared to my older unit. I also appreciate that it’s Wi-Fi enabled and Alexa compatible, which makes controlling the AC from my phone or by voice extremely convenient. 23 Dec 2025 bought 1 Yitahome mini split and 2 Costway mini splits. The Yitahome had a 90 day warranty. The Yitahome unit works great in summer. The condescending keeps freezing and it's not even the coldest part of winter. I took pictures. No issues with costway and the costway unit has a 2 year warranty. Very disappointed. I'm a disabled veteran. I demand a refund and the costway unit is $100 cheaper.

The only reason this does not get 5 stars is because of the APP. The Unit is easy to install and works. It is keeping an uninsulated 14 x 28 building at 70 in 24 degree weather right now. I purchased this unit primarily for heating and it has not disappointed me. The install was extremely easy even for someone like me that has never installed HVAC before. With that being said the documentation for the unit was very lacking. YOUTUBE is definitely your friend on this install. The unit does come precharged but the lines are not charged so they have to be vacuumed. It was cheaper for me to purchase a vacuum pump and a manifold and do it my self than to pay someone to come out and do it. The APP is functional and works very well after you get it connected. The IOS app would not connect with the unit. fortunately my Wife's phone is android and it connected easily. I was then able to sign in on the app on my iphone with the user name and password and control the mini-split. I recommend this unit It is easy to install, it works great and the app is functional (after you get it connected). I will also mention that their customer service did respond with emails and attempted to find a solution but they are on the other side of the world so the flow of emails is understandably a little slow.
