So, if you smoke you know how dirty your water pipes and accessories can get. I timed myself the other day, cleaning out my water pipe and all of the things that go with it (water pipe, bowl, + ash catcher). Took me about 45 minutes to get it spotless. So I said, what the hell, let's go ahead and give this thing a whirl. I put in super hot water, I added some rubbing alcohol and some salt ... all I can say is that every thing I own that can fit in this thing that was caked in unremoveable stuff is now sparking clean. I have glass pieces, where the stuff goes up inside the bowl and you can't scrape it out no matter what you do, it just becomes part of the glass, ... yeah, not anymore. All my pieces look brand new. Best of all, my involvement was minimal. I wasn't able to drop my pieces in and just come back and have them be clean but that is because they had years worth of abuse caked into them, I did still have to get involved a little bit but; it went from me being involved for 45 minutes straight to me coming back, every 10 or so minutes, and just helping scrape off, or pull out, the loose stuff from the pieces and while it did take longer, it only took longer because I cleaned every piece I could find. Now, if I have a rotation, I can just rotate through my pieces and then like clean them in bulk once a week where the weekly usage should only take me 15ish minutes (with this machine) to clean out. What was really cool, when some of the stuff would come off, it would float in the water. Well, if you look at the water, you can see the pattern that the vibration is making in the water. The stuff will gravitate towards one of these spots and then when it gets there, you see the vibration breaking it apart; you are left with dirty water but no more 'chunks' or anything. Note, if you do what I did, be prepared to have your house smell like a dirty water pipe for a few hours. This thing heats up the water; so it just spreads that smell throughout the house. While you will need to empty the water, I would recommend doing this outdoors or in a well ventilated area. I also removed all rubber pieces; I don't know if the vibration will damage the rubber over time. I did put some rubber pieces in there but I only left them in for 5ish minutes before I pulled them out. I rinsed it out after by letting it run with hot soapy water for a full cycle; I started it out with water as hot as I can get it, and I have mine set to surface of the sun hot; so it practically comes out of the faucet boiling. Also, keep in mind, if you are dropping glass in here, ... if it's brittle; the vibration may cause it to break. I did have a piece in that I put in where 2 glass pieces just separated (they were probably separate to begin with and just heated and fuzed together), like, uh, okay, had to throw that away, good thing I didn't really use it anyway. Anyway; if you smoke and you have pieces you regularly clean, this is a must.

Nicely packaged. Works well but only seams to get to 150°. Loud, but they all are. Well made and nice fit and finish. I would buy again without hesitation. Update: I wasn't giving it enough time to heat. It will boil water.

Works good, still trying to figure out the sweet spot. Maybe the cleaning solution is not good enough. It says 4 gallons doesn't look like it maybe 3 gallons. Instructions are easy to follow, sometimes you have to wing it.

I have been using ( daily, for work ) this Ultrasonic Cleaner for about a year, I have owned and used others, even more expensive, but this one has been the best so far, the others haven't lasted , from tanks perforated/corroded were they start leaking, heating elements no longer working or Ultrasonic generators burning out. I chose this one because I didn't care for "digital" controlers as they are more prone to fail than the old fashioned knob control and thermostat, the controls are solid today as they were when purchased, tank clean and no corrosion ( I DO NOT use any acidic solution in them only detergents and do everything possible not to scratch the tank. Some users say that is loud and I agree that is not quiet but the quiets I had were weak at cleaning and this one is pretty powerful in that regard and it doesn't bother Me the noise as is not running for a long time. For my usage I don't need extremely high temperatures, therefore I run it at about 85° All day Long 6 days a week from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and only need no more than a minute in the toughest tasks which are NOT corroded or heavily greasy items but I am sure can handle them. So far no issues with it. I can definitely recommend this Ultrasonic to anyone looking for a powerful and reliable unit .

You may be assured that I do not enjoy writing a negative review. I'm doing this because I feel this product is unsafe. First the positives: Packaging, appearance, and noise levels are fine. The ultrasonic cleaning aspect does a very decent job. Now the bad: The Heater. The variable setting heater control does not have any form of temperature sensing / regulation / control. The temperature control knob is simply an on-off switch. In fact, when the cleaner timer runs to zero the heater stays on!! At first, I thought there was a problem with my temperature sensor because when I set the controller to a low setting, after a short while the water in the tank was very, very hot. Sure enough, the instruction sheet confirms there is no temperature sensing. Here's the quote: "Be aware that this unit DOES NOT automatically deactivate its heating once the target temperature is reached. ALWAYS turn of the heating unit manually when cleaning sensitive objects." Capital letters shown are the manufacturer's emphasis, not mine. Yikes!! I read a review from a gentleman who destroyed an expensive set of dentures due to this misleading and unsafe design. Clearly, the product does not operate as one would reasonably assume it does. I intend to make Amazon aware of this safety issue. Oh, and lastly, the instruction manual shows the tank capacity is "3.2 Liters". I measured it. With the basket in place (and nothing in the basket) it holds exactly 2 liters of water (measured to the bottom edge of the basket's top frame). This is about the level you would reasonably fill the tank to. That's a 38% discrepancy. I hope this review helps. I did return the unit and received a full refund.

Beast of a machine, used my harbor freight one to clean carbs for years but this unit gets even more grime out after they’ve been cleaned. Heats up slow but has a lot of fluid so that’s expected, check the measurements for what you need. Only regret is getting the square tank instead of the long one since I primarily clean carbs.

I bought this for my husband as a sort of “starter” tank because I didn’t want to invest a lot of money in to something he wouldn’t use or didn’t work. Compared to the prices of most of the other sonic tanks, I wasn’t expecting a whole lot, especially considering it came with a personal sonic tank free. But let me tell you, this tank really surprised us! It works great! It’s a nice size to be able to have on a desk or even carry with you. The material seems sturdy, it’s a hard steel like material. The knobs are clearly labelled and it’s easy to use. Heats up quickly and doesn’t have a weird smell as it’s heating or cleaning. Definitely recommend this is you’re on a budget or just need a small tank for cleaning. Great value!

Hey, its a cheap ultrasonic at an impossibly cheap price. Unit cleans well and gets hot enough to boil if you let it. Has held up of about 4 hours of runtime so far, with only two (three) issues: Unit is most certainly not 15 liters (more like 2.2 gallons usable), but skipping past that... 1. The included power cord sits very loosely in the socket, and occasionally needs a wiggle to get it started. 2. The heater element likes to "stick" on even when the dial is off. On mine, it seems that the only way to shut of the heater at all is to flip the power switch off or unplug the unit to stop it from cooking itself. It runs full tilt, all the time. Overall, decent unit if you keep your eyes on it and obviously dont run it below 2/3rds fluid capacity.
