This item comes in 3 packages. One arrived with FedEx, which was the main structure, and then the other two arrived via USPS which were the panels and hardware. Everything came well packaged and protected, in other words, nothing came damaged. We started building around 1pm for which we stopped at 7pm and continued at 7am the next day, to be completed at 12pm; roughly 11 hours to build. Advice, follow the manual or atleast use it as a guide. You do need multiple people to help you to keep the structure stable and be able to put the pieces accordingly. I will say some of the holes don’t match up and you will have to do some manuvering to make the bolts go in. I also advise to place the curtain clips before completing the first part because after you complete the legs and enclosed, it is impossible to place the clips. In other words, you need a few hands to complete the task, follow the manual and patience. ... show more

Overall, construction on the gazebo appears to be good quality, sturdy, well made. Ofcourse, we are heading into a Minnesota winter, so I am anxious to see if it can handle the weather. The screens and privacy shades cover the structure nicely, but the shades are a bit thinner than I would like for storage. I may take them down for winter. The only complaint I have a few days in is the incredibly complicated and tedious set up. The kit was in 3 boxes that included a daunting amount of screws and nuts spacers and metal brackets. The whole assembly took my husband 4 nights after work with a lot of help from my daughter. My husband was a general contractor/ remodeler and this type of thing is definitely in his wheelhouse. That being said. I hid in the house most of the time he was out there because there was a lot of grumbling and some cursing and I didn't want it directed at the purchaser. If you buy this, set up requires a ton of patience, a 6ft ladder, a screw gun, some rachets and a few good friends to help you. Good Luck!! ... show more

All I have to say is I’m finally this d*** thing is up!! It took a while to put together with me and my dad. The panels on the top really take 3 people. Just to make sure everything is set right. Whoever the engineer is for this needs to be fired lol. There were so many points with many of the pieces that could be made differently to make this an easier process. Be prepared to spend many hours on this with many frustrating moments with the panels. Other than that, it was a breeze. Even with the 300 screws it comes with. I had a bit of left over material which is good incase things are lost in the building process. The straps that hold the screens are incredibly confusing and are too long, so I might just go to the store to make my own straps for the legs. I decided to bolt the feed into the cement using an impact drill. We will see how well it holds. Installation was miserable. Now I get to enjoy the thing. Hope to spend many nights under it listening to the rain (which reminds me to check for leaks) ... show more

    • Beautiful When Assembled

Once completely assembled, it’s a great value at this price point. However, there were several issues I encountered that I must say, were handled efficiently by a top notch customer service team. They responded immediately and did everything they could to rectify the issues. 1. FedEx did a terrible job in shipping the first of three boxes. This first box was so heavily damaged that none of the roof pieces could be used. They were bent up very badly. 2. The instruction manual was not very good, especially when it came to assembling the roof panels. Some steps are actually out of sequence. They really need to completely redo the manual. 3. Many of the holes do not line up properly which makes it difficult to assemble, especially the roof pieces. The manufacturer needs better in-process inspection. 4. I’ve worked in the metal manufacturing business over 40 years and dealt with 1000’s of assembly projects and never had as many problems as I did with some of the roof panels. 5. My wife and I spent over 20 hrs just assembling the roof. 6. The frame however, was an easy assembly. 7. The seller includes extra hardware which was a big plus. 8. The coating on all the parts is top notch and should provide years of protection. I want to repeat that the customer service department was very very good. They are very dedicated to helping the customer and resolving issues in a timely manner. Now that the gazebo is assembled, we are very pleased with our purchase. ... show more

    • Pay attention to the video, and don't tighten anything till you are suppose to!
This is an awesome gazebo. Very easy to put together with 3 people to doing the work,2 doing the work, the 3rd holding the screws and reading directions. Make sure to gather all parts ahead of each step as shown on the top of the page, and don't tighten anything till you are told to (watch the video). Directions are pretty simple if you know what you are suppose to have for that step. Don't just look at the pictures. Be sure to read all the tips they give you. There arn't that many and they are in big print. If you do all that it goes pretty smooth. It took us about 8 hours. We also used a screw gun with an Allen wrench tip,set on #1. Then then when it was time to tighten we set it on #2. Well worth the money. We would definitely recommend it! Ours is the 10 x 12 YITAHOME hard top gazebo ... show more
