This seat protector works great! It keeps my Mini-Aussies confined to the backseat and saves my backseats and doors from being scratched. It's waterproof and one side is covered with a non-slip material to prevent it from scooting around the seat. It also has some pieces you shove between the back of the seat and the bottom to hold the cover. There are connections the wrap around the headrests that secure it and protect the back of the front seats. It comes with two stretchy pieces, each with one metal end that buckles into the car's seatbelt connection. The other end is plastic which I attach to the D ring on my dog's harnesses. I feel at ease, once they are secured, that they are not going to jump out of the car until I'm ready to release them. And, God forbid, should there be an accident, I know the dogs aren't going to be tossed around and injured. Ive had several pet seat protectors and this is the best so far.

I have two big dogs (60 and 70lbs) and we go to the park daily, hiking in muddy places often, and even to the beach once in a while. When this cover is brand new, nothing makes it through to my back seat. I would say that I find I have to replace it every 6 months or so (though the current one has been on for 8 or 9 months), but given that I use it daily and my dogs are not easy on it, I think that's fair. I've only had one tear on me so far, and I wouldn't exactly say you can take it out and wash it and put it back in (I did try once), but it's still worth it. I can only imagine what my back seat would look like (if it would even still be there) without having one of these constantly for the last 3 years. Maybe if you only have one dog or smaller dogs it would last a lot longer for you. I still give it 5 stars though! love the mesh in the middle so air can get through from the front, too.

This is one of the best car seat covers I have seen. The previous 2 were much more expensive, but cheaply made, no door covers, and did not come with seat belts. The iBuddy is made from very thick material. I have a 2013 Chevy Equinox and it fits perfectly on the backseat. In my equinox, the bench seat can slide forward and touches the front captain’s chairs. With my old seat cover, I had to keep the bench seat slid forward in order for the cover to fit properly. With the iBuddy, I can have the seat slid all the way back in its proper position and still have enough material to cover the seat without needing to unclip the cover from the captain’s chairs as I had to do with my old cover. The iBuddy cover does not slip or bunch up at the back as the old cover did. I love the door barrier. It forces my dogs to be patient as I unclip and unzip the door barrier and unhook their harnesses from the seatbelts. The only complaint I have are with the seatbelt tethers sent with the iBuddy car seat cover. The clips are waaaay to small for most standard sized harness D-rings. I had to get carabiners to hook onto the harnesses and then hook the carabiner to the clip on the tether. Buying harnesses with smaller D-rings is out of the question because I spent some good money on these harnesses and I’m pretty sure you can’t buy harnesses with small D-rings when the dogs wearing them are 54lbs and 62lbs. The seat belts are also way too long. I have them shortened as small as you can and they are still a bit too long. It gives my Lab enough room to move around and get tangled up with her brother. I have had to pull over multiple times to untangle them. I will have to buy a shorter seat belt tether for her, as the iBuddy seatbelt tether just gives too much freedom. I might as well just leave the dogs loose. Other than my dislike of the tethers, I give the iBuddy Dog Car Seat Cover 5 stars. Because of the tether, I removed 1 star, therefore giving the iBuddy Dog Car Seat Cover 4 stars total.

It took me about five minutes to install this dog seat in my car by myself. My dog didn’t like riding in my car before, because I have leather seats, even while wearing their seatbelts, they were uncomfortable. Now they love riding in the car, their seatbelt slips right through the Velcro to keep them safe. And with the no slip grip on the bottom of the car seat, they don’t have to worry about losing their footing while I’m driving.

I am very pleased with this cover. It is thick, fits perfectly in my SUV and has all the little finishes that make it so much more functional: handles to carry it, strong zippers, anti sliding bottom, inside packet and more. Plus it comes with one seat belt attachment. My favorite part (and the reason I ordered this particular design) are the side walls blocking the door space. You can safely open the door without worrying that your escape artist will immediately jump out. Overall, an excellent purchase, worth the money spent. Great protection for the seats and safe, comfortable place for the doggies.

This is not flimsy at all it is a good quality material.. It is durable and can withstand my dogs nails. I have a small suv and the size is perfect. You can also change the size to make it to fit your vehicle by adjusting the straps. My dog sheds a lot and this has maintained my car hair-free. You can open your windows on the interstate and the stray hairs do not fly around, they actually stay on the material until you sweep or vacuum it. There are zippers on the sides to keep it upright and prevent dog hair from falling out. Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Love that it is heavy duty. I have 2 dogs, both 125 pounds plus, and have no signs of any sort of wear and tear. The only issue I have is the center zipper, I didn't expect the zipper to zip down. Since one of my dogs, I need to let her up using the floor of the back seat (she can't jump up to the seat) and find it hard zippering from the top of the zipper. Dealing with her and fighting with getting it zipped has been a challenge.
