I had to use additional material when attaching the basket to my cars cross rails. The provided clamps wouldn’t tighten down snugly. I had some strips of carpet that I wrapped around the inside of the clamps. I’ll get some rubber strips next time I attach the basket.     • It works great!
Although it’s kinda scary at first glance with so many pieces, it wasn’t that bad to install. It definitely helps having a second person install it with you. The directions weren’t great either. However, it’s holding my 20 cu luggage bag really well. The only thing I’m concerned about is the u-bolt screws puncturing a hole in my bag. I did put some cardboard over it so hopefully that helps ... show more
