  • Most awesome ladder for RVs
Generic EN131 Std. 12.5Ft Aluminum Telescopic Tel escoping Ladder Extension Exte nd Loft I ordered this ladder as I have a 40 foot RV and wanted to save space by not carrying a full size ladder. However, I want the ladder to be sturdy, compact and easy to set up and take down. Many reviews talked about pinching hand, fingers, needing two people to take it down. This is completely untrue, extending the ladder is a piece of cake. Start with the top step and extend it until it locks in place, then raise the next step until and so on until to have the height you want. Taking it down is just as easy....start with the bottom step by holding with one hand the third step while yo use the other hand to unlock the two sliding catches (one on each side) the slowly lower the step until the second step rests on the first step....repeat...just remember to hold the step above the one you are lowering while you release the catches. Fairly light and easy to store in your RV cargo area. I highly recumbent this ladder for every RV owner. ... show more

  • Great Ladder!
This ladder is really easy to deploy and collapse for storage. What an amazing product. It is very light and sturdy for regular tasks, but I was kind of nervous to use it to transition onto my roof, luckily it was able to ease it into a spot where I didn't need to transition off of it. I didn't have anyone to hold the ladder for me, so it may not have been a big deal to do so with another person to hold me steady, but as I crept to the top of the ladder it felt a bit wobbly. I wouldn't buy this as my main ladder if I were a roofer, but as a ladder to keep around the house to clean gutters and put up decorations, etc. I can't think of a better tool to use. Be careful when collapsing the ladder, you want to make sure your fingers are clear of the place that will make contact when it slams shut. Over all, I am really glad I bought this. ... show more

  • Perfect ladder for compact storage and easy transporting
This ladder was perfect for trying to get to a light fixture above my downstairs stairwell. My other ladder is one of those multipurpose folding sliding types but it was way too heavy to raise that high without banging up my walls. This was perfect since while collapsed it is no hassle at all to maneuver it into place. I then tossed a towel over the top of it and slowly raised it up. Because the top is thinner and lighter I had no worries about swinging it side to side and destroying a nice paint job. On the warning there are the usual instructions on how to use it one of them being to use it at a 75 degree incline. I never thought much of this with normal ladders but if you lean this ladder with more than a 75 degree incline you will notice some flexing which could potentially be bad if you weigh a lot. I inclined it more than 75 to get to that light fixture since there was no risk of the base slipping due to the steps. However I did notice some flexing and I weight 155lbs. Just be aware. I was also worried about pinching my finger as I retract it but it's designed so when you slide one rung down it will stop sliding all the way down until you slide the next rung down. I'm a klutz and if I can hurt myself I often do but I did not pinch my finger once. Great job on that. Overall though I love that it's so small and compact when not in use and I can actually transport it easily in my car. ... show more

  • Perfect for an RV
So I was looking for a decent compact ladder for my camper that would also hold my not so small weight. This unit fits the bill perfectly, it allows me to get up and clean off the slides before leaving without much effort and put it away for next time. One note though it is a bit on the heavy side but that means it is pretty sturdy as well so just be warned it isnt that light weight. I am still very happy with the purchase. ... show more

  • It's safe
I weight 270 and had it extended to the max. I crawled up it hoping the engineers who designed it had a degree. When I reached the top I was amazed. Light weight yet stong. I recommend.

  • Great ladder!
This is a great ladder. I needed a ladder that was compact, that would fit in the cab of my dump truck, instead of my extension ladder in the box. I am 200# and this ladder works fine for my weight. I've used it to trim some branches, so add about 25# of saw, and it still does a fine job. It did twist a little bit when I had the top rung on the tree (it is very stable when all 4 corners are touching), but I was able to get the trimming done, that I needed.Just about everyone that has seen it on jobsites has asked about it, and 3 of them have bought one. I'll be buying another one for our winter home. ... show more

  • Great handy ladder
I am a home inspector and this ladder is great for what I need. I use this mostly indoors to access attic spaces and other inside areas. I sometimes use this to access lower roofs so I don't have to take my 24 ft ladder off the truck. I recently used this ladder while building a 20x8 roof over a deck at my cabin. It worked fine but I would not recommend this ladder for everyday construction projects. While using this ladder you must adjust the ladder to minimize the flex while your climbing or standing on it. You must position the ladder so it is more straight up and down than the normal rule of positioning a ladder. If you do that then it feels very sturdy. I would recommend this ladder to anyone who needs a compact ladder for occasional light duty use. ... show more

This is such an innovative design. I got this ladder because it is light, so much lighter than my old Little Giant ladder and the telescoping mechanism is easy to use and is about 3 feet tall when fully collapsed, so it stores easily in the closet. Instead of bringing in my fixed length ladder, which is not fun as I have a lot of stairs, I have been using it for changing batteries in smoke alarms, getting in the attic, mounting security cameras and blowing leaves off my roof--it's perfect. Highly recommended, and you will love this ladder. ... show more
