This is a really nice awning, I have another awning by the brandname "Off Road Gear" and it is about the same quality! It came with all the necessary mounting hardware, and literally took about 5 minutes to attached to the rack of my truck ! Super easy to put up and pack down with just one person. Effortless with two! I have the "TuffStuff" accessory Windbreak wall attached to it, it works wonderfully! You have to unscrew the end caps on the awning before you can slide any accessories into the aluminum channel ! I was able to attach my full size (8.5x8.5) off-road gear mosquito net room to the bottom of it, and tied the excess matdrial to the awning leg pole via 550 paracord & duct tape. All i can say is, for the price, BUY IT!

This was a great buy! I mainly went with this because it was a great size. The big names like ARB and others were either way to narrow or way to wide. I found this while searching for a better size availability. The item comes well packed. The cover seems like it should hold up well to the elements. It mounts very easily, at least in my case, it went right onto the crossbars for my roof rack. It comes with VERY BASIC mounting hardware, but it does the job. I spray painted the metal mounting brackets black to match the hardware on my rack, but that is preference not a fault of the manufacturer. Once installed, it looks pretty sharp stowed away. Its solid while driving and does not move or rattle. It is very easy to set up. Doing so two or three times and you will master your own way as there no "real" steps to set it up. It can be however you want and what works for you. The cover seems durable and that it should last. The poles are the extend and twist to lock. They hold well. I did not use the rope and anchors as I had not needed to yet, but there are good quality and included in a small good bag like with a camping tent. They fold up into the awning and get zipped up in the weather cover when stowing the cover. The height is adjustable to so you can set it accordingly to the Sun. Over all I am happy I went with this product. The only "bad" part was a nut on a bolt for the cross bean was a little loose, nothing to give poor rating for, it took five seconds to tighten. I could have spent twice as much for half the cover and I am sure I would had been satisfied, but I am very happy with this purchase!

I was concerned about this awning based on many of the reviews stating you needed to modify it due to the zipper being on top of the awning when mounted. Mine was correctly built and the zipper was on the bottom, and the install was very straightforward. I had to purchase longer bolts, as the one’s it came with wouldn’t work with my rack as is. Set up takes less than 3 minutes, and putting it away is easier. One thing I did modify is the zipper pull. It rested on top of my Jeep, and I could hear it rattle on the top while driving, so I covered it with Sugru(Moldable Glue) so it did not damage or create any annoying noise on the hardtop. Overall I’m very happy with this.

I actually am very pleased with this system. Have three on my roof and they perform perfect. Definitely worth what they are charging. I strongly recommend setting the tie downs mine got flipped over and broke a tension pole. Already have a quick easy way of repair. Cut the end as little as possible and redrill and put a cap on the end from a hardware store.

I don't dislike the product, for the price it's not bad. Just be aware that it's pretty chinsey and cheaply constructed. Works well unless there's the slightest breeze. Tie down.

I read the reviews, and had low expectations. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and will also be buying a larger size. The product was carefully packaged to eliminate shipping damage. I did not have any of the problems noted in some of the negative reviews. The hardware is all stainless steel. The bag is not upside down. The material is quality and thicker than I expected. The Velcro straps are strong and well sewn / durable. It was much easier to set up by myself than I expected, but it would be a challenge in heavy wind.. The aluminium vertical and horizontal poles have rectangular rubber isolators to eliminate rattling when stowed, a nice touch I did't expect at this price point. If I had paid twice as much, I would have complained that the stainless steel brackets were punched without finish clean up to remove the tooling marks and sharp edges. I also would have taken issue that the bolts should also have washers. Five minutes with some 400 grit and a handful of washers, not a problem. The brackets are very generic, which is great for me since I have several applications. If you expect this to bolt up to your Audi without any tools - this is not for you. Summary - good buy if you have basic mechanical skills.

I installed this on my home made truck camper. I went on a 2 month trip cross country and the third time I used the zipper broke off in my hands. I took duck tape and sealed it up for the rest of the trip. I contacted the company about this and stye offered me something like $10 refund (ridiculous). The quality of the zippier was awful, the material of the awning was pretty good, the metal legs were a little light weight but worked well and easy to install. Really disappointed and I wish I bought a more expensive version.

Semi difficult for one person to set up, but not impossible. I have it installed on the top of my camper shell on my truck. I recently was in New Mexico with high winds from 35-45 MPH with gusts up to 65 . My awning popped up a little bit and in my sleepy confusion I was still ble to break it down and put it up no problem. Lightweight feature is awesome because I’m doing this by myself. The stakes are good quality and haven’t bent like those super cheap ones you receive with tents. Shade is great for the size. I park facing south and get the most of the coverage. This is probably the best item I bought for this build. The cost and what I’m getting out of it surpasses everything else I’ve put into this. Cannot recommend this enough.
