I was really surprised how heavy duty and this cable attachment is. It weighs, I think, a bit over five pounds. So it is heavier than my other attachments that came with my BodyCraft Galena. It fits perfect and I was able to crank out plenty of really good reps. I really enjoyed the workout. I attached it on the pulley overhead and on the lower one, as well. It's nice to have different attachments because it gives me variety. I am a small person but I did not find it hard to handle at all. It is solid and well made. So far I've used them once so far, and I will come back to update if anything changes. I bought 2 black handles, they were exactly what I was looking for. Each handle weighs 1.58lbs, and they are practically identical. No rust that I have spotted, and the welds at the clip seem to be nearly identical. I gave a 4/5 for durability, just because if the paint easily chips off if it the handle rubs against any metal. ... show more

Received today, got tired of looking for grips at 24 hour fitness. They are indeed steel and the welds are good not great nor I don't have any concerns. Black paint looks good. Negative: -v grip The plastic grip liner is a waste and feels pretty cheap (will cut off shortly and replace with skate tape). Would rather have had it narled. -d grip handle itself rotates and on one of them sort of grinds due to cheap machining but it's not the end of the world. Positive: -Pretty heavy, steel (maybe to much). -Have pretty large hands and both fit in there comfortably with some room. -Eyelet holes are large enough for heavy duty carabiners. -Real steel so will not snap,shatter at load or cause concern like the plastic version with the cool ergo grips. -Eyelet spins freely without issue. -v grip No rust as some others reported. -d grip has slight rust inside the handle joint where the prongs meet the grip. Not visible to the eye unless you look for it. If this is concerning planet fitness is the right gym for you. -v grip Train lat pull downs at 260-320 lbs for sets so I plan on loading this up in the same range -v grip Seated lat extensions at 200-300 lbs for sets -d grip curl range is 70-120 lbs -d grip chest flys 20-100 lbs Will post an update after a few workouts. (If that goes well I'd give this 4.5) ... show more
