Bought these handles thinking they were better quality than others seen on Amazon. However, I later decided to buy a second off-brand pair from a different vendor on Amazon. The off-brand handles were exactly the same in quality and size but at a much lower price. Also, the Total Gym handles had no logo or identification on them. So its possible that these handles are all made from the same place. Either way, you may want to save some money and look elsewhere. ... show more

Better than the standard Total Gym handles Pro - does not rub on your hands creating a minor burn fro use like the other standard one grips I do not feel they will break like the fabric standard ones. Plastic is not jabbing in my palms like standard ones. Con - minor - Little off the handles - smaller grips and a little squeeky Grips are Blah - for an upgrade they are just pipes/tubs - should be more form fitting ... show more

    • These work better than the strap style that came with the machine.
My husband purchased the Total Gym and uses it daily. He noticed that in the video the instructor's machine had these handles instead of the strap style that came with his gym. I found these on Amazon and he says they make a huge difference in his workout because they are easier and more comfortable to use. He works out longer and gets more benefit with these handles. ... show more

These are far superior to the strap handles that come with the Total Gym. These are easier to maneuver around, feel more comfortable and also more natural, if you are used to using free weights. I love them!

    • Pretty good handles for any home gym.
The chrome handles are a big improvement over my original Velcro straps that came with my single station gym. Would had been 4 or 5 stars, but the chrome handles rub some on the side of my wrists. Better than Velcro rubbing.

    • Good overall and enjoyable.
I really like these and they work well. Certain excercises will work your forearms more with this setup and rub your arms more. Overall, I use it and have not touched the original handles.
