I decided to get some accessories to compliment my Hulkfit power rack. I picked up 2 pairs of the plate holders and a pair of safety bars. They all fit my rack great and are very sturdy. Each of them do come as a pair which is great, making them very affordable. The only thing with the plate holders is that you have to carefully consider where you want to place them on your rack because you can block your DIY cable set up (if you decide to go that route) or if you choose to squat inside the rack, when you load up your plates on the plate holders, because of the diameters of the bumper plates, they can get in the way of your squat. That was one of the reasons I decided to get the safety bars so I can comfortably squat outside of my rack as well. The addition of the plate storage and plates also helped immensely in increasing the stability of my rack. There is much less swaying, making the overall rack very sturdy. ... show more

Very sturdy and good fit for rack. Much heavier and more precise design than other version of j-hook. Has lining on inside to reduce scratches on rack. It looks like there is a challenge on one screw for the resin pad riser. Screws are countersunk M4 and all have room to protrude thru the back side of the metal plate except for one. The bottom screw of the riser resin pad will rub against and scratch the rack if too long. This they have to be shorter than standard size. Picked these up from Amazon warehouse labeled as like new. Looks like previous customer tried to fix this issue with a different and shorter machine screw on the resin pad. They are not holding so the riser plate can shift side to side a little. I will work with customer support to figure this out. 9/1) Update to original review. The typical starting length of M4 screw is 10mm. I was able to replace the two screws with M4x5mm. I should have purchased these much sooner. My bar is starting to scratch and the black paint is peeling due to my hooks. These will protect my bar from more scratching and peeling. I love all of my Hulkfit equipment!

    • Jammer arms not great, but good enough

Nearing mid 40s and the bench press is just starting to put too much strain on my shoulder (i.e. I keep getting injured). Bought this primarily to do chest exercises since I could use a hammer grip with less strain on shoulder. Takes a little bit of time at initial setup to find the right position but works great after that. I'm writing this review after my first workout with it. So far I've done a seated chest press, leg press, and lever arm deadlifts. Chest Press and deadlifts felt pretty natural. I would say that the lever arm deeadlift doesn't quite mimic a traditional barbell deadlift. With the lever arm DL it felt almost like a squat and wasn't able to get as much tension in the upper back. My one and only knock...which is a big one...the lever arm doesn't quite sit straight hanging down and because of that, the weights on a loaded arm keeps knocking against my power rack posts. Still great but a little annoying ... show more

I just used the spotter arms for the first time. I failed on a 215 lb bench and the spotter arms bent instantly from the weight just sitting on them. Edit: I just realized that I bought the wrong size spotter arms for my rack so I am fixing the 1 star to a 4 star due to my error but I still think it bent way to easy. ... show more
