I bought this fridge because I was tired of ice coolers. This thing gets cold quick, uses very little energy from my Bluetti ac-180 and can freeze things. I put it into service immediately since purchasing, and its been on non stop, throughout my solar phase. The eco mode is nice, after you get it where you want it(temperature wise). I have nothing bad to say about it. It holds a lot of beer and waters mostly, but i have put food in it. The dc cord is long and can reach the bed of my truck from the cab. My son tries to borrow it from me, but I say no unless I’m going with him. He can buy his own. This is MY fridge. I like the portability of a dc fridge that isn’t bulky. It has handles on both ends.

We bought this for my husband to use in his semi. He love it. He meal preps for the week and this has enough room to hold his meals and keep his drinks cold! I would definitely recommend this product!

This is the second 42QT/40L 12v refrigerator I have purchased. I bought the first one four years ago. I used it in my tractor trailer and ran it almost constantly the entire four years. It recently quit working but I did not have a problem purchasing another one. When I consider the abuse that one stood up to being tossed about going down the road and consider the cost of the unit, purchasing the second one was not a difficult decision. As far as its function.. it is a real refrigerator with a compressor. It will drop down below 0 if you want to use it as a freezer. This would be great to have if your grocery trip is a long one or on a road trip. It will easily fit in the back of an SUV or a minivan.

Purchased to keep foods frozen but works great as a fridge also, and the ability to get to temp fast (-4 F) at low power consumption was exactly what I was looking for, especially when using solar generator with solar panels to operate (operates 24/7 with no issues). Great item for emergencies when and if grid power lost, or simply use it when travelling, camping or whatever else requires convenience with reliability. This particular size holds quite a bit too. I recommend highly to all considering to purchase such a piece of equipment.

It works very well when camping. The only issue I Has that the wall plug didn't work and was a pain to get a replacement so had to purchase a wall plug for it.
