Bought these to help the pups during the fireworks, they worked on my two smaller dogs 12lb and 15lb, I gave it to them about an hour before the fireworks were due to go off, my 15lb dog was so out of it he didn't care that my 70lb dog sat on him! the 12lb dog didn't have such a strong reaction to them but he wasn't shaking anywhere near as much as he was without them. We got these because our pup is a very anxious car rider. Even with taking the entire daily dose, we can’t make it 10 minutes down the road before he is drooling, pooping and puking. They do see to make him very calm and lazy just hanging around the house, but no effect for car rides.

Purchased these for the 3 day road trip. I was not sure how my pup would take to the car. That first day we gave them to her she slept, a lot. The second day she was just kind of chillin. We wanted to see how she handled the last day of the trip without them and it was the same. She slept and was just relaxing in either my lap or my husbands lap. So we really did not notice any difference. When we headed back, we did not give her any of these chews and again, she was fine on the trip. She loves the car. She loves the treat aspect but I really do not see that it relaxes her or calms her down. I gave her 4 prior to a vet visit and she was NOT in a calm, relaxed state at all. ... show more

We got a new dog from the animal shelter. Serious separation anxiety when crated. After a couple of weeks of not sleeping we had enough! To be fair, we tried several things at once - this, a thunder shirt and a blue tooth sound ball. It has been miraculous. I’m not sure which thing or things did the trick but something did!     • Took the edge off my nervous frenchie
I was looking forward to try these out with my French bulldog. He’s generally calm in the house, except for when visitors come over packages are being delivered. I went ahead and gave him one in the morning and one later in the afternoon when we have the most activity with visitors. While it didn’t entirely sedate him, it did take the edge off so that even when he was excited, it didn’t last for very long. He ate it easily. There was no resistance to his interest in it. I’ve tried other things that I have to trick him to consume but this he was happy to take like a treat.     • Work great and my dog loves them as a treat
I live in Florida with terrible thunderstorms and I have been using these to help my dog who is scared to death of the noise. She loves them as a treat and they definitely seem to help her. At first I only gave them to her as storms were approaching but since our storms are pretty much daily, I just started giving them to her as a daily supplement and I see her much calmer than before. She still reacts to the worst storms but the smaller storms go by without any notice at all and her reaction to the worst storms isn't as bad as it used to be.
