Given the price they should have included a longer chain to allow at least a 3 meter (13 feet) lift. A longer chain would increase it's versatility and usefulness. It comes in a handy storage pouch and is small and compact.

I got this for raising a header into place. It worked great, very intuitive. It is pretty small, which was good since I needed its min extension to be pretty short. I would caution against using it for heavy dynamic loads like off-road recovery type stuff, this isn't really made for that. It is, however, perfect for lifting that antique cast-iron lathe or table-saw you found at a barn-sale out of the back of your truck. Seems like it would work good for maybe pulling an engine?

Only one concern for me which is the plastic handle. I hope it holds up. As for the rest of the leaver block it is great and for my use will last me forever. Using it for lifting my lawn tractor and other items. It allows me to work on areas that used to be very hard to deal with. Operation is smooth, very happy.

This is a pretty cool little chain hoist. It only lifts 1000 lbs (supposedly) but that's enough for most of the applications I will be using it for. It's really small and comes with a nice case to store it in. Funny that the case has a belt loop in it because it's too heavy to be carrying around on your belt. The only bad thing I can say about it is that the handle on the end of the chain is made of plastic, which is a shame as everything else on it is awesome. But I really like it and it's small enough to easily carry around with me on my ATV.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this worked and all the uses. It is small and compact. the chain seemed small at first, but it is only 1/2 ton and doesnt need to be any larger. I had just got done using my logging chain which is quite a bit heavier duty. Different tools for different jobs. The quality is decent and I think what I like the best is it all fits in the small case, so you can just bring it with. A lot of times I could have used this in the past. Definitely a fun new tool for me.

This is a nice little very small size chain hoist. As in the description it only has 5 foot chain but honestly that is a plus if working tight places so you dont have a pile of chain to be in the way. The ratchet action on the hoist is a little bit stiff but hopefully that will break in some with use. I highly doubt I ever put this to its 1000lb limit but it will be handy to have around for sure. I also like that it comes with a carrying case so it can easily be tossed in a tool box or bed of the truck.

This is a well made, very sturdy come along. We have used it a few times for different heavy lifting jobs and it has worked great! Just make sure that whatever you are using to hang the come along from is strong enough to handle the weight. You can ask me how I know this LOL :)

Works good for when you need just that extra bit of pressure. It is well made for it's weight rating. The labels are straightforward and it's easy and intuitive to operate.
