Performed exactly as shown in videos. Well made hoot easily lowered the 400lb steal beam from height. Mechanism was smooth and did not bind up like some cheaper chain falls. The circular wheel was helpful for quick smaller adjustments when attaching to the lift points for the beam were lowering. Good value for the money spent and very well built. Would buy other items from this manufacturer without hesitation.

This thing is awesome! Had to winch out my sub compact tractor off a bank, super easy to use and understand. The chain doesn’t spool up rather feeds out the other side. No need to reset the winch. Would highly recommend!!

This is a great addition to my shop. The action is very smooth. I used it to hoist up my riding mower. It did so with ease. The fit and finish are excellent. I'd recommend it to any home shop and with limitations it could do some pro work if within the specs.

Appears to be heavy duty enough to meet the listed weight specifications with solid hooks and a good quality chain. The handle and gear/ratchet mechanism work well though it likes to have pressure on both chains to work smoothly. The mechanism feels a bit bulky in some situations but I suppose this is just how large they have to be. The housing is plastic but still feels like decent quality but if dropped or thrown around I don't think it would hold up under those conditions. The freewheel dial on the side functions but needs to have zero pressure on either chain end in order to adjust. I have not tested up to the listed weight, but it makes short work of several hundred pounds. Definitely has the gearing for heavy weight and expect to spend a lot of time cranking. Good product overall and I'm not sure you'll find something better for the price, but maybe a few bucks more could get a metal housing.

This Toyo lever chain hoist costs a little more but is so well made and finished that it is worth every penny! It's tested and certified and even comes with a pair of white cotton gloves. Nice work.
