Not only does this machine look good sitting on top of my small freezer, it is quieter than others I had in the past. I like the control knobs in the front to make easy access and monitoring while dehydrating. I made Venison Jerky sticks with The Sausage Maker's seasoning for the first time use and it was perfect. I followed instructions at 165 for 6 hours and the texture was to my liking. Not too hard or chewy. Have some packaged for my next deer hunt already. ... show more
