The space between the wires are huge. The fencing itself is flimsy and needs a lot of support to keep it upright without bending. I used it to make a run for my chickens and I had to put hardwire cloth on top of the fencing so the chickens couldn't get out.

The product images are deceptive – they make the wire holes appear to be 4x4 or even 2x4 squares, but in reality, they are 6x4. I didn’t realize this until I finally got around to assembling it, which unfortunately was just past the return window. Be sure to read the product description thoroughly, as the actual wire hole dimensions are listed there – don’t rely on the photos alone.

Keeps most animals where they to be and out of places they shouldn't be. I wouldn't recommend this as a deterrent for deer, since it just isn't tall enough to keep them from jumping, but I'm still giving 5-stars because it does what it's supposed to do.

This livestock fence is well made and seems to be holding up great. (Of course the real test will be how does it look in five years, not after a few months). It was easy to stretch and install. I put it around a small pasture I use for sheep. I likely didn’t need such tall fence for that purpose, but the 5 foot height will be helpful if I move a cow into the pasture. I like the grid pattern as the lower section helps keep lambs from sticking their heads through the fence. I have Katadan sheep and as “hair” sheep they like to scrape against the fence to shed the excess hair. That process can put a lot of strain on field wire, but this fence seems to be holding up well against the pressure. Also I have not seen any rust on the wire even where we stapled the fence to the posts do it seems to have a good galvanic finish. The price of this fencing seems very comparable to similar fencing at the local farm supply store.

I am very pleased with this livestock fencing. Five feet is a great height, and the 164-foot run is fantastic! The small spacing on the bottom sections is good for most things, down to the size of my hens. I'm actually using most of this to make trellises and tomato cages for my garden this season, which should last many years, given the quality of this fencing.

This is the same quality fencing I get at our farm store but is about 20% less expensive. I was hopping to use on a chicken run but my smaller chicken get through it. I will be cutting out sections for sapling protections from deer. It has sat outside for a month now and so far no signs of rust or corrosion.
