We use this as a dog pen enforcement and it's been working great. It only takes two or three shocks before. The dogs really don't want to go test the fence or dig underneath it. Very glad my dogs are safe. Good value for the money. Seems sturdy. Appears to be good quality. Very easy to install.

This thing was kept covered and protected from rain on day one. It worked very well for nearly 6 mo. then just quit working. Tested the unit directly at the unit and it simply isn't putting out any juice. Removed the back cover to check for a possibly blown fuse. No such thing on this cheesy junk.     • Cheap but works
So I have a electric fence around my Bee hivee because I live in the woods in PA. So because of that we have a lot of black bear, raccoons and other pest that have tried or have gotten near my hives. I have this energizer hooked to a 12V Solar battery with has a solar panel and NOTHING so far has gotten to my hives. I have a cell game camera on hives so I can see if anything messes with or walks by. So far this energizer has stopped 1 racoon and 2 black bear. So would I recommend this product, YES and definitely for the price. ... show more

    • Exactly what we needed to protect our furbabies
I have two standard poodles that continuously dug under or jumped over the 5' fence, nothing we did stopped them and they'd disappear for hours while we searched for them. We live in the country with coyotes, stray dogs/cats, and a bobcat, we're also about 2.5 miles from a main highway, so I needed to keep my furbabies safe. I finally, reluctantly, decided to put up an electric fence to protect them. The first day, we sat outside with them, after we easily and quickly installed these electric fence synthetic rubber gate handles, electric fence posts, upgraded electric fence polywire, and electric fence energizer, they tried yet again to get out of the yard. They got zapped, yelped, and haven't tried to get out of the yard in two months. FYI, Hubby and I both tried it first to be sure it wouldn't harm them, it was a jolt, but we all survived lol.     • Strong shock works good
Unit itself works great, but the 110 plug went out very quickly, they should change the design for a normal plug from the unit and not use ac adapter, still works with a car battery, would rather run on 110 but canā€™t seem to find a new 110 plug to order

I am taking to social media because this company is a joke an absolute disgrace to an AMERICAN made product We used this product less than 5 months and it quit working The AC/DC adapter quit working so we bought a new one and that was only one issue the inside of the product was completely CORRODED!!!! so of course it's past the time to return, so we reached out to the company...... NO PHONE NUMBER, so emailed and NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING, the email goes no where or if it does they just don't respond A WASTE of MONEY, I have never been so livid DO NOT BUY do not buy from this company they are a joke ... show more

    • Looks like a toy.
It's a very compact unit, almost like a toy. In general it seems to function but I don't know if it will be enough to keep deer away from my garden. Ground wire is very thin, maybe 14 gauge, and only about 3 feet long with an eyelet on each end. Connection stubs are only long enough for these types of eyelets so you'll have to find a way to connect these eyelets to anything heavier you may want to use, such as underground insulated wire. Ground "rod" included seemed flimsy so I upped it to 6 feet of galvanized ground rod instead. As I said, it does work. I don't have a tester, but electrical pulse was detectable with the grass stem test at about 2 inches. LED did not function on my unit. We're using about 900 feet of aluminum wire for minimum resistance on a"3d" deer fence baited with peanut butter on aluminum foil strips. Time will tell. ... show more
