The media could not be loaded. Our indoor cat is allowed in the backyard, and we’re lucky that he has no desire to leave … except to explore the shrubs along the driveway, which we didn’t want him to do. I decided to fashion a gate we could pull across the driveway to keep him safe, and I’ve been making them for years (eventually, the fencing tears with moving it open and closed). I’ve used different kinds of temporary fencing, some I liked more than others, but this may be my favorite … we’ll have to see how it holds up, but I’m feeling very positive about it! The description said the material was heavy duty, but when I first pulled the fencing out of the box, I thought, heavy duty as compared to what? It seemed flimsy and thin, but when I was constructing my fence-gate, I realized it is flexible and light and it does seem as if it will stand up well to us opening and closing it … and dragging it across the driveway. I make my fence-gate using PVC pipe that I weave through the holes, then I secure them with the included zip ties (very sturdy and pliable), and add a few strips of original, silver duct tape (don’t use the colored styles ; they don’t hold up to the elements), to hold the PVC in place. I pound larger pieces of PVC pipe connectors into the ground on the side so I can drop the piping into the ground to keep it sturdy and so that the bottom of the fencing is flush with the driveway all the way across. So far, I’d highly recommend this fencing—love the wider strip of material halfway down! It looks nice and is super easy to open and close the gate because it isn’t stiff like other fencing I’ve used for my DIY project. UPDATE: After the product had been in use for a year, it started to fall apart. The plastic began disintegrating into tiny pieces … even without touching it. I believe most fence material like this is considered temporary, but it happened faster than other plastic mesh I’ve had in the past. But it did a great job and looked nice while it lasted.

When ordering plastic fence always look at the weight or thickness to make sure it will be suitable for your application of use. I have bought fencing in the past and did not check the thickness. I had to buy it a second time because the milling weight or thickness was not suitable for the purpose I was using the fence. You have to remember the sun will break down the plastic so the thinner fencing doesn't last as long.

Bought this to use while my grand dog is visiting for 2 weeks. I don't have a fenced-in backyard but needed something while my daughter's dog stayed with me. In lieu of walking her two times a day or keeping her on a lead in my yard. I felt she deserved better. I used 4 -ft steaks to secure this mesh fence. I used the zip ties that came with the fence. I then used u-shaped tie-down steaks at the bottom of the fence. I made my own gate so she could be let in and out (w/PVC pipe and this mesh). It turned out pretty good, was way less expensive than buying a fence and was quick to install. I am also able to roll the mesh back for ease of mowing in-between her visits.

I shouldn't be surprised, but yet I am. I studied this type of plastic fence from various manufacturers and outlets, like Home Depot, Lowes, etc., and settled on this one for the price per ft and based on description and reviews. This is not at all like what I expected nor what I have still and am still using from back in 2013. If I'd seen it in person I would not have purchased it. While it appears to be well made, I see no flaws, and it comes with a pack of zip ties for installation, it will have to be used with 5 ft metal t-posts and much closer together than I had planned, based on my previous orange plastic fencing. My mistake for trying to buy online without viewing in person. I was wanting to use as a temporary, movable fencing for my chickens but due to the hassle of driving t-posts into my ground it will not be movable. For the price, (nowadays anyway), I suppose it is alright if you are aware from the start that it will need very sturdy and closely placed support posts. I'd say it is heavy enough to keep chickens in but it certainly wouldn't contain most dogs and rabbits and other wildlife will be able to chew through it in a flash where my older fence, while it was chewed by possums and ground hogs, took a lot longer to chew through. This is just my experience and your needs may be quite different. UPDATE: While the product didn't meet my subjective expectations, the seller, Ohuhu, saw my review and reached out to me with a solution, and no expectation or requirement that I modify my review. To me this speaks volumes about a seller, especially in today's world of just making a quick buck without customer concern, and I will not hesitate to buy from this seller again. Very impressed!

We put up about 500 feet of snow fence each year to protect our shrubbery from deer damage. This fencing is definitely heavier (15 lbs/100ft) than the less expensive stuff out there and has performed much better. The deer have gotten to the point where they tear down the cheap stuff and so far they haven't damaged this product. We've been using it about 3 years and have purchased at least 4 or 5 rolls.

You can pass on this product. Mesh is advertised as square 1.7 x 1.7 its not. Its the same as any other Chinese plastic mesh fence 1.5 x 2. Description suggests it is a heavier duty, it's not. It's no difference in material or quality than any other plastic fence. Just a different inaccurate description.
