So many issues it’s difficult to summarize. When it works it’s amazing like hitting a perfect golf shot… but like golf, much of the time I have spent in the weeds, troubleshooting and repairing. Warranty is 2 years, however that has limited value because customer service is sometimes good and other times terrible. I have had a support ticket in for the last unexplained breakdown for a month without any obvious attempt to fix the issue. So it sits as a very expensive yard ornament while the grass overtakes it, serving as a warning for passersby to think twice before parting with their hard earned money. Really wanted to like this but being honest with myself, the technology and support needs a lot of work. I have regrets.

We never actually used our YARBO—and honestly, that might be the best part of the story. It arrived in five very large boxes, which was our first clue that we may have overestimated both our very steep driveway… and my husband’s assembly abilities. Let’s just say his skill set tops out at changing a lightbulb, and leave it at that 😉 So before opening everything, we made the call that this impressive machine was not our match. Now here’s where YARBO absolutely won us over: customer service. They quickly scheduled a FedEx pickup… except FedEx never showed (twice!). At that point, most companies would shrug and wish you luck. Not YARBO. They literally got in a vehicle, drove from Illinois, and picked it up themselves. I mean… who does that?! That’s not customer service—that’s customer commitment. So while I can’t review the product (still in pristine, unopened, five-box glory), I can confidently say this: if anything ever goes sideways, YARBO shows up. Personally. And that alone? Five stars all day.

Here’s what I learned after receiving the product. The device requires a data center (antenna) mount on your roof that has access to both power and an Ethernet connection. It’s not even WiFi enabled. I’m not going to modify my home to drill cables into it just to use it. I’m an older man who doesn’t need to take such risk just to install in a place to get property coverage. The seller should disclose this. Also I only got 4 of the 6 boxes. Completely missing the snowblower module. Now I have to reassemble all the boxes and packaging stuff which is not going to be easy so I can ship it back. They better pay the freight.

This little fella is amazing. The Big Laplowski I have not used the mower yet but if it’s as good as the blower I’m not too worried. The only real issue I’ve had is I get addicted to watching it work instead of utilizing the time savings, but it’s so impressive. It has quarks all new tech does but they are nothing compared to the convenience factor it provides.

This is an amazing machine! I’ve mowed my lawn from 14 hours away during the summer while lounging by the pool. In the winter I blow the snow off of my, and my neighbor’s driveway, while I am out running errands. Customer service has been great, always responsive and they go above and beyond to ship things quickly! I would highly recommend this system. I’ll never live without one again after having used this for almost 2 years!

The unit only worked once, and it took numerous contacts with support get it to work. The one time it worked, it did an okay job. But since then, I can't connect the data center and the unit, the auger is broken, and because I bought it on Amazon, they need to go through extra steps to verify my purchase and send me a replacement belt for the one that broke. A belt known to be a failure point due to a bad batch. It takes 24-48 hours to get a response. At this point, I'll send everything back since they can't send a belt or get the unit to reconnect.

This is an amazing machine that works wonders. It cleans snow so well and the build quality is amazing. I could operate with my phone, the xbox style controller, but the autonomous mode is outstanding. Even with caveats, this is hands down the best robot blower ever. And the company is really great with customer service. It does require some effort though to setup and it has some quirks, but compared to manually cleaning out large amounts of snow or using a snow blower on a freezing day, I would choose yarbo everytime.
