Description

The Omega Rod Holder attaches to kayak, boat, or other watercraft with LockNLoad mounting system. Offering unrivaled track mount security and adjustability, the patent pending LockNLoad track base is the most advanced track mount ever created. You want no slip? No problem. The LockNLoad track base attaches quickly and easily with a single MightyBolt but will not accidentally rotate or loosen from the track, even when your trolling rod takes a big hit. There are 3 modes: locked, adjustment, and removal. The patent pending design is easy to use: -From locked mode, simply squeeze a lever to go into adjustment mode. -In adjustment mode, the mount can be rotated in any direction, but cannot be removed, ensuring the rod holder is completely secure while making adjustments, even if a fish hits. Let go of the lever and you back in locked mode. -To go to removal mode, flip the lever out, and the system easily slides off of the track mount.

These are great portable rod holders. They can adjust to a bunch of different configurations. The quick release makes it easy to pop the rod holder off and attach different accessories without having to remove the base from the track.

Bought this for a new kayak. Very easy mounting and easy to use. Arrived with no missing parts. The size was perfect to fit on the kayak and it appears to be working very well and is durable. Great value for the money. Will update post if any changes, but thus far would recommend.

    • Pretty good so far.
I used it for the 1st time yesterday. It's nice and secure to my track mount and held the rod securely. I knocked off 1 star because I can't figure out how to keep it from turning left of right as I pull the rod out. My 7 ft rod's grip is eva foam and slightly wider than the gap at the top where you could insert and remove the rod with out pulling it all the way forward out of the mouth, so when I pull up to remove the rod it catches for a quick second and lifts the holder which allows it to turn and sometimes made it cumbersome to get out of the holder. I'll obviously knock it down to 1 start if I start losing fish or fumble my rod into the lake because of this. Otherwise, it's sturdy and easy to mount. ... show more

This is a well designed and quality reel holder. It holds my spinning rods like a champ. I wish they mentioned how the locking mechanism worked in the install instructions though. I ended up finding and watching a YouTube video on how to install. Of course it’s suuuuper easy once you know how it works though! ... show more

    • Easy use and low profile stays out of the way.
Now have two. One for me one for the wife. First off the low profile keeps it out of the way while fishing. I am sure you could get an extension if wanted or needed but get a longer rod holder to start with if that's the case. The twist lock, if that's the correct term, to secure the rod in place is a simple design that performs perfectly. No stretchy rubber piece to try and lock down. Just spin/twist and done. Lastly it attaches to the rail system securly as designed and is easy to remove for transport and/or storage. ... show more
