These are a nice looking chairs and table set and seem to be fairly sturdy. However, if you are expecting the strength of wrought iron, you'll be disappointed. While they are made of metal, it's pretty thin, although there is some "weight" to the whole set. They haven't fallen over and we've had some pretty bad windstorms here. I added some seat cushions, as I don't think they'd be comfortable to sit in for too long. The table top might need a cover, as the design has holes where small things might fall through. Also, the screws that attached the pieces together seem to RUST quite quickly. I was surprised to find that happened within one month of putting it together. So, maybe clear coat everything. The rust is ONLY on the screws/nuts where things fasten together. Weird. ... show more

I bought this little patio set because I'm still mostly working from home (and I love it!); I wanted a place where I could set up my laptop and work outside. It's kind of perfect for that! The table and chairs are a decent size for someone of typical height and weight, but if you are a person of size or exceptionally tall, you'll probably experience issues with this set. It's aluminum, which means that although it's sturdy, the metal is NOT as sturdy as steel or iron; pay attention to the weight limit on the chairs (220 lbs). None of these things are an issue for me as I am a boringly typical female (5'6" and 150 lbs), so the set works just fine for me. It was super easy to put together. I did it by myself in about 45 minutes. The instructions are easy, and all the hardware was included. It even comes with IKEA-style wrenches, which will work OK... I used my own tools, though, because I found the spanner a bit difficult to use (the tendons in my hands are sometimes weak/painful). Overall, it is good value for the money, looks cute on my deck, and allows me to work outside on nice days. Can't complain! ... show more

Yeah this table was pretty easy to assemble with the chairs. I recommend using a socket wrench instead of the little wrench that they give you. It’s a 9/16 socket a longer socket would work like a deeper socket instead of a short one because of the threads but I was able to do it with a short one.

It's good for the price and you basically get what you pay for. I thought it was going to be heavier material, but it's lightweight. I guess I didn't look at the description "cast aluminum". When anyone over the weight of 100lbs sits in the chair they somewhat buckle. I bought this set intending to create a seating area for my front yard, but I might use the chairs to hold potter flowers instead. They are great as a display, really cute. I decided not to return because I didn't want to deal with the hassle of taking everything apart, reboxing and taking sending it back. ... show more

I like the design and easy to assemble. But material is light, it’s made of cast aluminum not cast iron. It was my fault of not reading the whole description. I just decided to keep it since my husband already assembled it. Still expensive for the price since it’s not made of cast iron.
