I love this piece. It’s outside in all the elements. I’m late to reviewing this and I’ve had it for two years. It looks new. It took a little time to put together, but I managed on my own. The directions were very clear.It holds everything I need for it to hold for potting dirt as a drawer I put seeds and things in. I did add a clip at the end of the drawer, so the drawer wouldn’t pull all the way out. It’s sturdy. It’s still in new condition. I would definitely buy it again.

Great table for the money. I’ve seen some reviews complaining about the perceived durability and sturdiness of this product. Yes it’s made of soft pine, and yes it’s not super heavy but remember you are only paying ~ $120 for this table. Not sure the folks complaining know what teak, cedar or redwood costs these days. For the price you are getting a basic potting table with a nice drawer and a small cabinet. It is stained and maybe treated for insects (smells like cedar). Everything in my shipment fit well but not perfectly, none the less it went together easily and the instructions were clear, at least to me. There are some dowel and mortise and tenon joins which should be glued in my opinion but it’ll be fine without. All the screws and bolts were clearly labeled in individual packets as were the wooden pieces of the table. We are going to put this potting table in an area next to our large vase potted flowers in a space that will be partially covered but still exposed to the weather. Having said that I will purchase some adjustable feet to keep the legs out of rain water and plan on giving it a coat or two of spar varnish or Tung oil. Wouldn’t expect this to last for years and years but is well worth the price. If you are determined to get something that you’ll hand down to generations to follow, this is not for you but I’d still recommend it for the price.

I found the instructions were easy to follow. Took me less than 2 hours to put together by myself. I decided to coat it as others mentioned to weatherproof it since mine will only be partially covered and sit on turf. There were a few knicks and splinters so quality isn't perfect. The drawer doesn't come with a stop so I plan to add one for safety. The metal board scratches easily. I'm not sure if it was just me, but a few screws didn't sit straight in the pre-drilled holes and I had to force correct it. Overall, it is functional and looks good.

I put this together by myself, but would have been easier and faster with 2 people. It was easy but did take me awhile and there are lots of parts and screws. If you don’t have one, this would be your perfect excuse to buy a ratcheting screwdriver. Some things to make sure to do is lay out the pieces how you would put it together. I made many mistakes that caused me to have to unscrew and adjust. Pay attention to the length of each piece and where the pre-drilled screw holes are. The only damage I had was wood splitting when screwing in the shelf pieces mainly because there weren’t wasn’t always pre-drilled receiving holes.The shelf was a little troublesome to align. I added casters to mine - I did this step while the unit was still upside down and before I attached the table top. It fits nicely on the side of my house under the lean-to. My casters have stoppers which is needed if your surface isn’t level like mine (graded for the water drain).

I put the table together by myself in about 2 hours. Lots of parts but everything was clearly labeled and came together pretty easily. I have it on my patio under the protection of a porch above it so will see how it weathers, but I have used it a few times now and absolutely love it so far.

I think this will be a fantastic potting table for me. I purchased two others that were a heavier wood and both arrived broken in multiple places. I was a little concerned that this one would be too lightweight based on the shipping weight. It arrived in good shape. All the pieces were well packed and well labeled. It took my husband about an hour to lay everything out and then put it together. He said that for the most part, all the holes aligned where they should. And there was one section on the left hand upright that supports the small shelf that he put a few extra screws in because it didn't seem stable. When I got home I started varnishing the put together product. In hindsight, I wish we would have waited and put on the hardware after getting everything varnished, as once you've put the screws into the wood, I don't think you want to back them out and do it again. The wood is very lightweight and I don't know how well it would hold up to adjustments like that. The size seems to be just about right for my needs. I just wanted a cleanable work surface to plant and repot my outdoor flowers without bending over to do it on the driveway or the deck. I think this will even work well for for repotting my indoor plants and not have to worry about how much dirt I'm scattering! After varnishing it, I also purchased some snug fitting rubber table leg covers for the bottom, as it will be an outside potting bench. My husband also built a paver platform to put it on, which will keep it from standing in water when we get rain and snow in Colorado. I then purchased an inexpensive barbecue cover (American flag) that goes all the way to the ground. I don't expect this to last forever, but I do feel like I'll get several good years out of it with the care we put in after building it. I'm excited to start using it even though this summer is waning.
