I have 5G home Internet from one of the big guys, and I love their service even out here in the boonies, BUT it would get very hot and there's no active cooling. I decided to find a cooling pad for it, but all were too big.. Not THIS fan! It could not be more perfect IMHO. Put it together easily and the cages and feet are great. Was well over 120f before fan... Running a nice 91.6 now, and the fan is not even nearly half speed. I may get a few more of these just because! ... show more

Bought this to use with my offset smoker - sounds odd, but it works. I won't detail how I'm using this (like most of us barbequers we all have our secrets!). The item is well built, functions well, is quiet enough, and the variable speed controller is a must. Purchased the latest X box for my son. Purchased the twin cooling fan base and additional top puller fan. All three fans are USB powered. With all three fans running this system still gets pretty darn hot. I purchased this A/C powered cooling fan with the speed adjustment knob. I retrofitted this fan into the housing of the USB powered puller fan that I had previously purchased. Wow! Night and day difference. At half speed this fan is more than adequate to keep that Xbox very cool. The fan is quiet compared to many other computer fans I have heard. Highly recommend. It will get the job done. ... show more
