The quality is superb. The height adjustment and locking down the adjustment was so simple that they didn't include instructions. It's wood that you're sitting on so I would call it comfy, yet it's firm, including the rubber feet that don't slide. The packaging indicated not to use sharp objects to open the cardboard box, but I confess I did. I cut the corners and pulled off the cardboard while cutting the tape ever so carefully to avoid possibly damaging the seat of the stool. Adequate packaging, BTW. I'm pleased. These stools are very well built and nice in appearance. Easy assembly. My only issues was their height. Lower than I anticipated. I did put in to return them but never recieved the shipping label. So I ended up keeping them. While I'm on the subject it annoys me that one would have to pay to return the item. That's not always evident in the product description. Be careful when ordering. I was fully expecting to assemble these (somehow 😂), but these beauties arrived on my front porch completely assembled and well wrapped against damage protection.
